Roomies

Chapter Four

Kryss' Pov

The bell rang and I dipped so fast. It's not that I don't like school, I mean, I am at college, but like, it's not as exciting as laying in bed, wearing pajamas, and watching Netflix

I got back to the dorm before Eli and I called Alyssa

"Hey wassup!" She said with a deep voice
"Where are you?" I said eagerly
"School!" She laughed, "duh"
"Oh yeah!" I laughed too
"How'd you get back to your dorm so quickly?!" She said still laughing
"Ima speed racer!" I laughed
"I'm on my way!" She interrupted
"Okay!" I laughed
"That is why you called right!"
"Yeah!" We both laughed AGAIN and then hung up

I've know her for how long and it already seems like she's my best friend

After maybe 15 to 20 minutes, I heard a knock on the door

"Come in!!" I yelled sitting on the couch

Alyssa opened the door and ran over to me

The tv was already on Netflix

"What we watchin" she said putting her legs on my lap

"What you feelin?" I replied scrolling through movies and shows

"What's that!" She said grabbing the remote from my hand and going down to a show called D A R K

"I'm famous!" I yell laughing

Alyssa clicked on the show and we began watching

I get scared easily so while watching this I cuddled close to my blanket.

"Scaredy cat!" Alyssa yelled at me and I hit her with a pillow

"Am not!" I laughed

"It's not even scary!" Alyssa threw the pillow back at me

"Whatever! It's suspenseful..." I said with an eery voice

We were three episodes in, it had been almost three hours

"I think we need a break from this!" I said, when really I couldn't take all the suspense happening

"No!" Alyssa grabbed my arm, pulling me back onto the couch

"Hey!" I yelled at her and soon we began fighting each other

"Stop!" I yelled from behind my shield (a throw pillow)

"Say I win!" Alyssa yelled

"Oh, what do we have here," I hear from the kitchen and I look over to see Eli leaning against the island smirking

"How do you come in so quietly?!" I yelled at him throwing my shield at him

He caught it, "May I join?" He said still smirking and walking towards us

"Yes please!" Alyssa said looking at him then me, raising her eyebrows

"Shut up!" I said laughing and getting up and walking to the fridge

"What, you thirsty?" Eli said checking me out

"Ugh! As if!" I mocked the girl in Clueless

Eli chuckled and walked into his room

Alyssa stood up and pulled his door shut all the way

"Who's hottie with a body?!" She said smiling at me excitedly

"His name's Eli, he-" I started but Alyssa cut me off

"He's your roommate?!" She said slightly jumping on me

"Yep" I said nodding then looking back into the fridge

As I turned, I noticed the time on the microwave

"It's already 6?!" I said looking closer at the microwave

(AN/ Kryss' classes start at 12:00 and she gets out 2 hours and 45 minutes later. Then three hours of the show, makes it 6) (lmao)

"Oh my god what?! I have to pick up my roommate from her date!" Alyssa said fixing herself up

She hugged me and waved as she ran out the door

I walked over and turned off the tv, then began cleaning up the living room

"So, who was she?" Eli said walking up behind me

"Ah!" I jumped

"Stop doing that!" I hit his arm

"Ow!" He said making a pouting face

"What, you hurt?" I said smirking, mocking his voice

"You're lame." He said turning to the bathroom

"You're annoying." I replied

1 hour later

I was eating a salad at the island when Eli came out of his room

"Hey, where's my food?" He complained

I ignored him though because I was highly interested on the dancing cricket on my phone

"Out of all the things you could be doing on instagram, you're watching a cricket dance" he said trying to be cocky, reaching into the fridge

"And out of all the things you could be doing, you're talking to me." I replied, still only watching this fucking cricket

He pulled out something from the fridge, then walked over to the pantry. He got out what sounded like bread, and then put two slices in the toaster

While his bread toasted, he pulled out a glass from the cabinet and poured himself something

He opened and shut the fridge and then came and sat next to me

"Want some?" He said gesturing to his drink and I finally looked up

"Sure," I smiled at him and he got up and poured me my own glass of orange juice

Then his toast popped out and he threw it on a paper plate

He sat down next to me again and slid my orange juice over

"Huh! Me sliding into your dm's like" I laughed at my own joke

"Actually no, you're too busy looking at crickets"

"Shut up." I say, sipping my orange juice
