Trudy took her time walking through Hell's Gate. Quaritch could wait for all she cared, and she had to sort through her own thoughts. Harry had told her that she could relay any information that she deemed important, but it was hard to distinguish what was important and what wasn't.

The facts that she knew, and there was quite a few, were minimal. It wasn't that she didn't know what was going on. She had built up some sort of comradery with the higher ranjed officer, almost enough to where she could call him a friend.

She knew that the Na'vi wouldn't leave their tree. She didn't need Harry or Jake to tell her that. She could see it in the trucks that came back to base with arrows and poison dripping out of their wheels. She could tell by the way that vase still seemed to be at war between itself. It was Science vs Force, and unfortunately, to everyone else she was on the wrong side.

She knew that it didn't matter what she told Quaritch. She probably didn't even have to tell him anything. She knew that what ever information she chose to indulge in, he woukd use it and twist it. It was unavoidable.

But she had her orders.

And those were orders that she wouldn't mind following. She could tell the difference between right and wrong, and she knew that evrrything wrong seemed to lead right back to base and coincidentally right back to Quaritch and Selfridge.

She could also tell that everything right seemed to revolve and rotate around her General. She had picked her side the minute Harry had entered those gates, and she wasn't going to stop now.

"Report Pilot." Quaritch's voice seemed to carry throughout the room. Trudy held back the urge to smirk. One her way to the colonial, she had pieced together what she would tell him. She just hoped that it was good enough and that it wasn't too much. "I am waiting Pilot. I do not pay you to stand there and stare off into space. Join the savages if you want to do that." Quaritch said irritated, shaking Trudy from her self indguging thoughts.

"You don't pay me at all," she mumured to herself. "What do you want to know, Sir?"

"Weaknesses, I want to know what makes our darling General bleed." Quaritch had a vindictive smirk on his face.

"He doesn't have many weaknesses," Trudy started. "The only one that I am aware of in a Na'vi by the name of Tsu'tey."

"What can you tell me about this Tsu'tey?" The name sounded weird when it came out of Quaritch's mouth. Trudy much preceded hearing it come out of Harry's or Grace's mouth. It sounded more natural.

"Tsu'tey is a Na'vi born male. He is the next in line to clan leader, and he is to be mated to Neytiri, the daughter of the current clan head. The relationship between Harry and Tsu'tey is currently unknown." And that was utter bullshit, but Quaritch didn't need know know that. She didn't know what the man would do if he knew that Harry and Tsu'tey were in that awkward stage of 'What are we?'.

"I want to know what that relationship is. We need to exploit everythingbwe can, Pilot. What else can you tell me? Relationship with the clan, roles, anything?" Quaritch question, turning an eye to the stiff woman.

"The Shaman has named him to be the next Tsahïk, or spiritual leader of the clan." Trudy said a bit hesitantly. She wasn't going to bring this up, but she figured that it really wouldn't hurt anything.

"What do you mean 'Spiritual Leader'? Sounds like a bunch of bullshit to me." Trudy stayed silent, knowing that the man was just thinking out loud. "Alright Pilot. Keep digging for information. Dismissed." Quaritch waved his hand towards the door. Trudy took her leave.

Trudy sighed, rubbing the bridge of her nose as she walked back to the lab. This wasn't what she signed up for. She signed up for the marines and she trained to be a pilot. She didn't sign up to play spy for a man greedy for power. She didn't train to double cross, and she wasn't that good at it either. The only reason that she hadn't been caught yet was because she wasn't lying.

It was easy to play the role of spy when the person she was supposed to be spying on knew what was going on. The freedom of choosing what to say and what not to say was the only thing saving her.

"Hey Trudy!" A male voice called out to her when she stepped into the lab. Trudy groaned, covering her face with her hands. She didn't want to deal with this guy.

"Hey Norm." She said tiredly, taking her head out of her hands and giving the man a smile. She thought it was more like a grimace, but Norm didn't seem to notice. "Harry and Grace on the other side?" Norm's face darkened at her question, which she found pretty odd if not concerning.

"Yeah, about two hours ago." She practically heard his teeth grind together. "How have you been?" Oh she couldn't do this right now. If this guy pushed her in any way she was going to mame him choke on his own teeth while she sat around an watched. She was almost positive that none of the other scientists would care. Apparently, Norm isn't really well liked in his own department, but it was quite curious how much he was liked in the Military side of the base.

"Tired. I have been up for over thirty six hours and I would really like to go to bed." Trudy said, making her way through the lab. Trudy heard the frantic footfalls that Norm made as he tried to keep up with her.

"But I was thinking-"

"No, Norm. I am going to sleep." Trudy almost yelled.

"Trudy-"

"Norm I swear," Trudy ground her teeth together and clenched her hands into fists.

"Tru-" Before Norm could finish, Trudy drived her fist into his face.

Norm crumbled to the floor holding his face in his hands. Trudy smirked and shook of her hand before she turned back around and made her way out of the lab. She smiled when the last thing she heard was a groan of pain, perfectly happy leaving the man to nurse his broken nose and his wounded pride.
