Harry had hidden away before the other tribes had gotten to the Omaticaya settlement.

That's what it was now. The Omaticaya had been so big, so proud, so well recived in the Na'vi world. However, they had been reduced to this. Seeking shelter at the only place they had left.

Harry had hid amongst the different vines in the tree. Pink tendrils swayed around him in odd intervals, but Harry couldn't pay much attention to them.

"Tomorrow." Eywa's voice echoed throughout his head. His queue had been attached to a few tendrils for what felt like hours as he was trying to reach the deity.

'Are you sure?' Harry inquired, his eyes closed. She gave a slight impression of an annoyed huff. Harry snorted to himself.

"I would not be telling you this, Hadrian, if I wasn't sure." She sounded exasperated and Harry couldn't find any reason to fault her for it. "We have been very busy, Death and I."

'Are you scared?' It was barely a whisper in his head. He sat for a while. He could still feel the presence of Eywa in his head, but she stayed silent.

"Yes. These are my children, but creations." She sounded so somber, like she was almost resigned to what was going to happen. Harry shook his head.

'We are not giving up. We will be okay.' But Harry wasn't sure who he was trying to convince.

"You have been hiding out here." A voice broke through his trance, making Harry jump. He scowled at the approaching figure.

"What do you want, Jake?"

"I am trying to pull a Harry and avoid everyone." He smiled at Harry's answering snort.

"Is it working?" Jake thouvht for a moment.

"A little. Then I ran into you, looking all sad and somber. What's eating at you?" Jake sat down next to Harry, his back resting up against one of the many roots that stuck out of the ground.

"Tomorrow, Jake. Its all going to happen tomorrow." Harry whispered, his hand hovering over his stomach unconsciously. "Another war Jake. Another war that we have to fight, and anither war that we have to win."

"Looks like a general's job is never over, sir." Jake laughed when,Harry smaked his bicep. "It is quite true though."

"What are we going to do?" Harry sounded airy, even to himself.

He hated it.

"We will do what we always do, what Tommy would want us to do." Harry smiled wistfully.

"That's a name that I haven't heard in awhile."

"Me too actually. I was just thinking earlier and his name just popped into my head." Jake said quietly, his hands fiddling with a strand of his black hair. "Its a great motivator."

"I bet it is." Harry looked off in the direction of the clan. He could make out vague shapes. Children running around and chasing the many different bugs that resided around the tree, adults huddled together eating hexapide meat and laughing together. The sight made something pinch in Harry's chest. "We have to fight tomorrow. We have to make them fight."

"We are not making them do anything, General." Jake said. "They are doing all of this for their own reasons. Some of them might be different then others, but they are all fighting because they chose too."

"Why weren't you ever this smart back on earth?"

"I have learned some new things, Harry. Maybe it was the attitude of that woman." Jake winced at the reminder of Neytiri.

"I don't know what you mean. Tsu'tey was a great trainer." Harry laughed.

"It helps that you fell in love with him, and him with you." Jake grumbled.

"Yeah, Neytiri doesn't seem like that kind of person."

"No shit. I saw her and Trudy making out somewhere in the vines down a ways." Harry snorted again, this time almost choking on his own saliva.

"Didn't really see that one coming. They do seem good for each other though." Harry smiled, caressing his stomach again.

"Why do you keep touching your abdomin like there is something growing--" Jake stopped then, his jaw going slack at the meaningful look on Harry's face. "Holy fuck, Harry."

"Yeah, Holy Fuck indeed, Jake."

"How far?" Jake looked down at Harry's stomach in wonder.

"Maybe two months? It is hard to keep track when we have so much to do."

"Harry," there was an edge to Jake's voice. "Are you still going to fight tomorrow?"

"I have too." Harry whispered out. Jake seemed incredulous.

"Tsu'tey is letting you do this?" Harry winced at the mention of his mate.

"He doesn't know yet."

"You need to tell him, Harry." Jake chastised his best friend.

"Yeah, thats what Neytiri said." Jake nodded.

"Nobody ever said she wasn't smart."

"How do I tell him though, Jake? I'm not supposed to be able to get pregnant in the first place." Jake shook his head.

"That isn't a question that I can answer, Harry." Harry scowled.

"Some help you are, Marine." Jake barked out a laugh.

"Right back at you, General."

Tsu'tey hand suspended next to Harry, a very comforting thought. They were all quiet, rows and rows of Na'vi were all in the same position as him and Tsu'tey, all of them were suspended underneath the Toruk.

Harry glanced over towards his Mate one last time, taking as much in as he could.

He mapped out his sharp cheek bones and his golden eyes. Eyes that held so much fear, yet so much determination. He mapped out the way his body seemed to coil and relax, waiting in anticipation for the fight that was coming.

He didn't break eye contact when Tsu'tey's eyes met his own. Green met gold in a clash of feelings.

"You cannot fix everything, Hadrian." Tsu'tey murmured into Harrys black hair. "The only thing you can do is help."

"But I want to fix everything." Harry said, a lone tear making its way down his cheek. Tsu'tey sighed softly before brushing the tear away with his thumb.

"Whatever happens tomorrow, Hadrian. I want you to know that I love you." Tsu'tey whispered, one of his hands rubbing circles onto Harry's lower back.

"And I love you." Harry said eventually, burying his face into Tsu'tey's warm chest. Large arms wrapped around him and squeezed him tightly.

Harry felt his heart break slightly when a small, almost inaudible sob sounded from just above him.

"I love you." Harry mouthed to Tsu'tey, who just looked at him. His look of determination switched to a look of silet desperation, which made his heart crack even more.

'I love you too.'

Harry looked away then, tears shining in his eyes. The sound of heavy equipment dragged all of their attention to the right.

The dragon carrier was making its way around the large cliff, its engines sputtering and grunting with the effort of keeping the thing off of the ground. Harry looked on in trepidation before he locked his emotions deep inside his heart.

It was time to be a general again.
