FINALE

"DID YOU BRING MY OREOS?" zach yells, running to the door when i open it with my key.

"no, i brought chips ahoy.." i answer, zach stopping in his tracks.

"yes, bitch. i brought your ducking oreos," i roll my eyes, grabbing the plastic box out of the bag and throwing it at him.

he flinches as the box hits him on he head and falls to the ground.

"HEY, MY COOKIES ARE CRUSHED NOW!" he yells, grabbing his oreos and trudging to the couch.

corbyn finishes his can of sprite and gives it to jack.

jack picks up the can and shakes it.

"hmm... this bitch is empty... YEET!" he yells, throwing it at jonah's head.

"we should start a hashtag. #stopjonahabuse," he says, picking up the can and walking to the kitchen to put it in the recycle bag.

i smile, rolling my eyes.

i go outside to the rocks near the cliff and sit.

i'm so happy. the boys have made my life better than it should have been.

i should have been suffering at harvard, racked with homework every night, not getting any sleep until two am.

instead, i can take college courses online and i still have time to spend with them.

although moving to california did bring a few struggles and problems... mainly darian, I got over them and made new friends.

i'm broken out of my thoughts by the sound of the back door opening.

corbyn smiles at me and runs to the rocks.

he takes a seat next to me, looking at the view.

"the sky's so clear when you're the view, azzy," he giggles.

"st-stop making r-references to your songs," i laugh, putting my hand on his shoulder.

we sit in a comfortable silence, watching the sun set.

"azalea wright, i really do love you, you know that?" corbyn whispers, hugging me from the side, whispering into my hair.

"and-d i l-love you t-too corbyn. i'm s-s-so glad we're m-m-more than friends. i c-can share my love f-for you," i smile.

"i.. i wanted to ask you something," he states, a sense of quietness in his tone.

"y-yes b-b-baby?" i ask, lookin at his face.

he looks at the view from his own backyard, not looking me in the eyes.

"well.." he starts.

"c'mon, s-spit it out al-already," i say, smiling, punching his arm in a joking way.

corbyn gets up from the rock, leaving me sitting, wondering what he might be doing.

he turns around, back towards the view of los angeles.

he kneels on one knee and smiles up at me.

corbyn puts a small smile onto his face and pulls something out of his pocket.

a small box.

oh gosh.

he opens the box slowly, revealing two rings.

one was a gold band with a diamond on top, shining with the gleam from the sunset.

the other was a silver band with a word engraved into it.
