Rose's point of view-

7:30 a.m.

Rose groaned and reached her arm out from the warmth and comfort of her blankets to shut her beeping alarm off. she slowly sat up blinking her eyes open before falling back against her bed. she rolled over and sat up fully leaning on her arm as she glanced out her window.

"There's no point in getting up sweetheart, you've got no job to go to." she heard her mother call from the other room. Rose flopped back against her bed realizing her mother was right, the events from the day before filling her mind.

After she had fled the building like the strange man that called himself the 'doctor' had instructed her to, she'd paused and turned back to try and spot him before the entire building blew up. She gaped in shock before running in the opposite direction, both fearful and confused about what exactly had happened. Running home she was embraced by her mother who quickly began rattling off what had happened and how a friend of hers could get rose and interview that would give them quite the compensation.

Her boyfriend Mickey had come by soon after asking if she was alright and that she should head down to the pub to get something strong to make her forget what had happened. She declined knowing he was only suggesting that to go to see a match that he loved watching. So he'd left and she had decided to head to sleep early to try and forget about everything that had happened.

After Rose had showered and gotten dressed and ready for the day she sat at her dining table as her mom continued to prattle off other jobs she could get at several different places.

"There's Finches, you could try them." her mother suggested. "They've always got jobs."

"Oh, great, the butcher's." Rose replied sarcastically

Jackie Tyler rolled her eyes at her daughters stubbornness. "It might do you good. That shop was giving you airs and graces, and I'm not joking about compensation. You've had genuine shock and trauma. Ariana got two thousand quid off the council, just because and old man behind the desk said she looked Greek!" Jackie continued, bringing one of her friends into it. Rose honestly just wanted to forget it had even happened. It was just a strange coincidence with a man that was clearly not alright in the head. Right?

"I know she is Greek, but that's not the point. Its a valid claim." Jackie continued as she took her cup of coffee and walked into her own bedroom. Rose rested her head on her hand and smiled to her self finding everything her mother said to be funny. She jumped and turned her head around however, when she heard a rattling coming from the front door.

She pursed her lips and stood up realizing that it was the cat door rattling. "Mum, your such a liar! I said to nail that cat-flap down. Were gonna get strays!" She called to her mother as she crouched down in fount of the cat door.

"I did it weeks back!" Jackie shouted back not bothering to leave her room.

"Nah, you thought about it." She said picking up a stray nail in front of the flap. She lifted it up to put it back in place, when suddenly the flap moved causing her to jump back. She watched it for a moment before moving back before it and quickly pushing the flap before moving her hand back and watching to see what would happen. When nothing happened she pushed it again, holding it open this time. Before her eyes, looking back at her through the flap was the same man from last night.
