chapter 1

Kasia's pov

Hi i'm JJ's little sister.

I've just come back from a 7 year holiday. Hawaii was beautiful! I'm back now, and I've heard my brother JJ is a football player for the western bulldogs.

JJ doesn't know i'm back yet, so I'm going to surprise him at his training.

I jump out of my car and walk into the building.

I search around for JJ whilst not looking suspicious.

I scan the area but then someone catches my eyes, he has brown hair and looks quite young. He see's me and i quickly look away whilst my cheeks heat up.

He starts to run in my direction. Oh no.

"Hi, you look a bit lost," he says with a cute boyish smile, "would you like some help?"

"Ahah is it that obvious?" I ask.

"Kind of, but don't worry, I'll help you," he says with a laugh.

"Thank you!" I say, "may i ask who my saviour is?"

"Oh yeah sorry, my name is Patrick, but you can just call me Pat," he says

"Well my name is Kasia."

"That's a beautiful name," he says with a small smile.

"Aha thank you," I blush.

"Now, who or what are we looking for?" He asks

"JJ," I respond

"Oh okay," he says sadly.

We pass a few hallways and Pat tells me about how he's only recently started playing for the bulldogs. His first game was against Hawthorn in 2017, three years ago.

Ever since I told him I was looking for JJ he kind of closed up a bit.

We walk into a room and that's when I see him. My brother. I've missed him so much.

I quickly run up to him and jump onto his back. He lets out a loud yelp whilst throwing me off him.

"Owww JJ," I say whilst groaning in pain.

"Kasia!!" he yells, "I'm so sorry, it was a reflex!"

"It's okay J," I say

He runs up to me and gives me a hug.

"I missed you sis!"

"Me too bro," I reply

"How did you know where I was," He asks

"Oh Pat showed me to you," I respond

I turn around to thank Pat, but I notice that he's not there anymore.

"Hey, where did he go?" I ask JJ

"Don't worry, he's probably gone back to training," JJ says

"Okay, I'm sure I'll see him soon!"
