4:55p.m., Professor Agasa's House, Sunday

"What are we going to do with him Ai-kun?"

Agasa asked Haibara, as they both stared at the brown haired, blue eyed thief. He lay across the couch, unconscious, and bleeding. Haibara sighed and shook him awake.

"Kuroba-kun, you need to wake up."

No luck.

"Kuroba-kun!"

Kaito jolted awake, only to be overcome with pain and fall back down. Haibara sighed once again and put a hand on his shoulder.

"Don't move. Just tell me, where did Edogawa-kun go?"

"Edogawa... M-Meitantei?"

Haibara nodded and stared at him. Agasa rushed over to the counter to grab a cup of cold water he had prepared beforehand. He handed it to Kaito, who hesitantly took it.

"Little lady, why am I here?"

"I noticed that Edogawa-kun's phone was not responding, so we went to check it out, and found you unconscious. As a result, we brought you here to treat your now open wound."

Haibara said blankly. Kaito suddenly jumped up, dropping the cup.

"Oi! Careful!"

Agasa exclaimed as he reached for a nearby towel.

"M-Meitantei! He's in trouble! We need to-"

"Meitantei? Who? Conan-kun?"

Kaito froze and turned his head to the left to see Ayumi, Mitsuhiko and Genta. He nervously chuckled and smiled.

"Is Conan in trouble?"

Genta asked, getting a side glance from Haibara. Agasa sighed as he stood and put his hands behind his back.

"I'm afraid so. We have no clue as to where Conan-kun is."

"What?! Conan-kun is missing?!"

Everyone froze upon hearing the voice of the female karate master. They slowly turned their heads towards the front door and saw Ran standing there with Subaru Okiya. Kaito sighed in annoyance and rolled his eyes.

"Of course she just HAD to show up now!"

He erupted, throwing his hands up in the air. He immediately regretted doing that as he groaned in pain, fell back onto the couch, and slumped.

"Who is that? He looks like Shinichi!"

Ran questioned as she walked closer to the small group. Subaru walked behind her with his hands behind his back, a straight face being expressed.

"Um... His name is-"

"Kuroba Kaito."

Kaito interrupted Agasa with his own introduction. Suddenly, the three kids gasped and pointed at Kaito, who rose an eyebrow.

"You were on that island!"

They all exclaimed simultaneously. Kaito sweat dropped and smiled.

"Yeah, sorry for saying I was Meitantei."

Genta smiled and put his hands behind his head.

"You two do look a lot alike! It's our mistake- Wait! Mitsuhiko, who calls Conan, Meitantei?"

Mitsuhiko thought about it as Kaito sighed and closed his eyes. He had lost interest in keeping his identity a secret far before that.

"Ah! Only Kaito KID calls him that!"
