A LIE

Chapter 1:The truth

Hello everyone If people actually read this) this is my first ever story and well I hope you enjoy!

Narrator's POV

Years. Years have passed since the incident. You can't really call it an incident, because it was on purpose. For now let's call it 'The Lie'. Since you don't know what caused 'The Lie' let's start from the beginning...

Lucy POV

I slowly walk into the new fairy tail guild hall pressing my back against the wall trying to get to the bar unseen.

But why are you hiding from your precious nakama, you ask? Huh, this is more difficult to explain then for it to actually happen...Basically every time one of my guild members spot me, they throw food or magic at me! And on 'special' occasions they come flying at me with full force. (╥_╥)

Ever since Lis (A/N - Lisanna and Lucy are friends. Lucy came up with a nickname for Lisanna... no, not lasagna. Lis.) came back she has been soaking up all the attention. But she's not the quote on quote, 'bad guy' as most people say. She's not the only one, Mira, Juvia, Wendy and the exceeds didn't leave me behind.

So today I walk to the bar to get breakfast. But, just before I sat down Natsu yelled, "Yo Lucy, I - er we need to talk to you!"

I quietly mumbled in shock "O-ok, I'll be there in a minute. I'm just going to have breakfast first!" He nodded. I asked Mira to make her signature dish. Crèpes drizzled with maple syrup, berries with whipped cream and my favourite strawberry milkshake.

After I ate I went up to Natsu and asked "So Natsu what did you want to talk about?" With his classical Natsu grin he said nice and calmly "You're off Team Natsu!"

With one look of my shocked face he started explaining. "It's because you're weak without your spirits and you just hide behind them! And well... you were just a replacement for Lisanna!" Saying those words were the best idea he had in awhile. Before I could strangle him, Mira went into her most powerful soul.

As she put on a terrifying smile, she asked, "What did you just say Natsu? Hmmm, you seemed so brave before, what happened to the big, strong Natsu?" (｀Д'*)

She was scaring me! But before he could answer Lisanna went into her tigress form to scratch Flamebrain. Huh, I didn't know how much it suited him until I actually called him that. "Your an absolute idiot. *Giggles creepily* I don't care if you were my childhood friend. Not anymore... YOU'RE NO CRUSH OF MINE!"

Wow, Lis is really loud...

"C-crush? W-wow, I didn't know you liked me in that way...To be honest I like you too!"

(;￣ー￣川 (A/N - I hate Nali. Sorry all those Nali fans!)

"Natsu, Natsu, Natsu... you missed a key part of information... you're no crush of mine! Natsu you really need to listen..."

Huh, the creepy smile must run in the family!
