Our hands wrap around each other, her claws rub my back and squeeze tight on my shirt. My soft hands feel her scaly back with two large wings coming out of them.

Dragon or human, this woman is my wife. I will love her till our end. If she dies, I die. Two smaller dragons lay by her side, waiting for death to take them. My children have gone through enough pain and they just want to end it.

"Isn't there any hope?" I sob as I let go of Lucy. Her scaled face shakes no. Her beady eyes look down upon me, the same chocolate brown as they were before.

She opens her mouth but no words can come out, only a soft, humming grumble of a dragons. I look down at the ground. Then to my children with their blank eyes staring hopelessly at the floor.

"I can't understand you, Blondie." My cry becomes ugly, "I only want to hear your voices again!" I sound as desperate as I am. Her large eyes begin to water as she backs away from me and lies down with our kids.

Her head lies upon her front legs as her face begins to dull. Her eyes becoming a rusty brown and her large mouth curled into a frown. My one and only love and my two kids that still live are dying in front of me and there is nothing I can do about it.

A rustle from a nearby bush is heard as I sink to the forest floor. "Go with them, Sting." Natsu calls out to me. More and more people come out from the bushes and surround me and my family. Natsu places a hand on my shoulder.

"Your family is dying, Sting." He makes me look upon the dragons in front of me, "The people here could never make you as happy as they did." He's right. They are my light. Sure I have Rogue, but he has a family of his own and he doesn't need me to ruin that.

Yukino has her Celestial spirits. Minerva is with Rogue. (I didn't know who to put her with.) The rest of my guild has families to care for. Dragon Tale is all one giant family. Lector, my exceed, died years ago. Fairy Tail hates me. And the other guilds barely know me.

I'm alone in the world without them.

"We all will be with you and your family until the time they die." Natsu let's go of my shoulder and walks up to Lucy, placing a hand on her snout. "I'm so sorry Luce. For everything we've done to you. You will always be remembered as a mother, a wife, a friend, a daughter, family and a hero amongst us all."

He smiles weakly as everyone else says their goodbyes. He hurt her and hated her, but even when she's going to die he respects them? What sort of person is he.

Their eyes are fluttering closed, slowly slipping slowly out of life. I rush to her side and rub her long snout. "Don't worry, Stingy-Bee will be coming with you." Her breath suddenly stops and she closes her eyes. Dead.

I turn to my children by her side, both of them have passed away as well. I mange a sad smile as tears start to spill. I lay in front of her. "Can you kill me, too?" I speak softly as I close my eyes.

Silence fills the woods until someone small walks over and places their hands on my chest. "Can you please help me, Fang?" Wendy chokes through tears. I smile. I slit open my eyes slightly spotting Fang with puffy, red eyes walking over here.

Ah, I giggle to myself, So this is the almighty Fang that Lucky wanted to marry one day.

"Hey old man." Fang hisses at me as he kneels down next to me, "Tell Lucky that I hope to marry her in the afterlife." He tears up.

FlashBack.

"Hey, Kiddo." I walk towards Lucky on the balcony. She flinches as she hears my voice, making me frown. "Can we ignore the past? I just want to be a normal father before the games are over."

She grunts, "Why can't you be a normal father after the games?" she glances at me as I join her at the balcony, "I want... no - I need you to be with us even after these games." She commands.

"I'll always be your father no matter where I am in the world." I reassure her, "So... do you have a boyfriend?" I start the casual dad conversation. You know? Don't all dads do this to embarrass their kids? My dad did.

She blushes red and goes all flustered. "N-NO! NO WAY!!" She crosses her arms, "I don't have a boyfriend... yet..." She mumbles embarrassed. I grin. I lean closer to her until she backs away from me.

"Who's the LUCKY man?" I snicker at my own joke. She's not buying it. "Seriously though, maybe I can help you get together." I wink.

She sighs and point an accusing finger at me. "Promise not to tell?" I nod, she's flustered again. "His name is Fang Williams, a Poison Wolf Slayer. He's in my guild team, The Slayers." She blushes and looks away.

I turn serious for once and focus on my daughter. "If you love him with all your heart, marry him soon."

End of FlashBack

"Will do, Fang." I finally respond.

"We're planning on reversing my healing magic and add one of Fang's poison attacks to make sure you have a painless death. We also might put you to sleep." Wendy explains.

"Sounds great." I grin for the last time, taking a glimpse of the forest's ceiling. "See you all in the afterlife." I say before slipping into a dark abyss.

I can't feel anything. Nor see.

Just... Nothing?

"Sting?" I hear a voice call. It sounds like Blondie... Blondie?

I struggle to awaken quickly, I want to open my eyes and see Lucy right there with me. I only want to see my family again. Just let me wake up. WAKE UP GODAMN

My eyes flutter slightly until I opened my eyes. To see my Lucy. My Lucy. My Blondie.

All we can do is hug each other. The moment freezes and I want it to stay like this forever. But it has to end. I smile at the blonde. This is not the happily ever after I expected or wanted. But it's still happy right?

We're together now and forever.

A couple with their 3 children.

Waiting for their friends to arrive.

So they can all be one...

Big...

Happy...

Family.
