Chapter 3.
I grabbed my books out of my locker and ran to Jake’s, to find him pulling out some of the books he needed.
“So, what happened with you and Harry, aye?” he asked with a wink, I laughed at his cluelessness.
“Nothing, I just found out that he’s my twin,” I said proudly and beaming up at him.
“Oh really?” he asked, raising an eyebrow.
“Yup, and we’re going to walk home together, so I’m afraid you’re gonna be a loner on the bus today” I said, laughing.
“That’s fine with me, I can pick up babes quicker without you hanging off me all day” he laughed, giving me a wink, I playfully slapped his arm. “Come on, we’re going to be late” he grabbed my hand and dragged me down the halls.
“Who’s hanging off me now?” I asked, laughing as he pulled me into history class.
The rest of the day dragged on and when the final bell sounded for home time I was more than relieved, I picked up my books and Jake and I ran out of the classroom to our lockers where we grabbed our bags and put away/grabbed any books we did/didn’t need. We raced each other out to the front gates and said our goodbyes as Jake jumped onto the bus and I wondered over to Harry. He stood with a blonde boy, I only saw the back of their heads, but I knew it was Harry.
“HARRY!” I called out, getting some dirty looks from a few girls as Harry turned around and beamed at me.
“JESS!” he yelled back and ran to me in slow motion, which I mimicked, laughing, until we reached each other and he pulled me in for a hug. We walked back over to the blonde boy who was now watching us. Once we reached him Harry placed an arm around his shoulder and introduced us.
“This is Niall,” he said as the blonde boy mumbled a quiet hello and threw his hand out in front of him for me to shake. I took it carefully and shook it. Niall had dirty blonde hair, bright baby blue eyes, clear braces and the most amazing accent I have heard, he was a likable person.
“Hi, I’m Jessica” I said, the smile never leaving my face since I had seen Harry a few minutes ago.
We walked down the road, talking about what most teenagers talked about.
“So, Jess, have you got a boyfriend?” Harry asked, raising his eyebrows.
“No Harold, I do not,” I told him in my posh, English voice.
“Oh, why?” finally Niall decided to join the conversation, he hadn’t said a word the whole way.
“I guess I never really thought about it, I’ve always had other things on my mind and I never really needed one,” I confessed, looking at the ground as we kept walking, “How about you two?” I asked, looking up at them both, a smile creeping onto my face.
“I got myself a pretty lady” Harry said proudly, strutting down the pathway “ her name is Emily.” I laughed at him before turning to Niall and raising an eyebrow.
“Nah, I’m single. Waiting for my princess,” he said, turning a light shade of pink and staring at his feet as we walked.
“That is the sweetest thing I’ve ever heard,” I cooed, he was adorable. He looked up at me and laughed, his eyes filled with happiness and his laugh being as contagious as it was, made me start laughing too and within a few seconds Harry was laughing as well.
“I don’t even know why I’m laughing,” Harry said in between breaths. Once we had arrived at Harry’s house him and Niall walked inside but I couldn’t move. I stood at the front door, looking like an idiot. Harry turned around and saw me, he walked back to where I was standing, grabbed my hand and pulled me into the house.
