Narrator’s POV

“That’s why I told you! We can live in Tenma’s house!” Kazemaru half-yelled, “But…10th might do something to our precious Tenma—ack!” Kazemaru cut him off with a karate-chop on the head, “We are being a nuisance to Shindou, you idiot, besides, Tsurugi-kun would take care of him for us,” Kazemaru smiled sweetly at Tsurugi who gave him a smile and a thumbs up, “Look how sweet Tsurugi-kun is to our precious angel!” the teal-haired said as he pointed to Tenma who was being taught by Tsurugi. Since the kidnapping incident, Tsurugi was too overprotective of his master and because of Endou’s disagreement, he concluded he should teach Tenma how to fight.

“Psh…” Endou settled down as his former servant sat down beside him, “I don’t mind taking you in,” Shindou smiled as he served tea, “That’s so sweet of you, Shindou, but we must not be a nuisance, the war is still on-going,” Kazemaru explained. “You and Endou-san are not a nuisance, we need your guidance anyway,” Shindou said. “Is it really fine? Gouenji and Fubuki are staying over too…but if you insist then we’ll be glad to accept, besides Endou—“ “Ichirouta…” Kazemaru cleared his throat with a blush, “Mamoru has a point…we need to protect our son…and you guys too,” he stated. “Then it’s settled, your room is just beside Tenma’s,” the young mage said. “It’s kind of sound-proof too,” Shindou added with a wink. Kazemaru felt he was about to die in embarrassment while Endou just laughed.

Shindou walked down the corridors and headed to his servant’s room, who was pretty acting odd since the previous events, “3rd…?” he opened the door but there was no one inside. From the window, the dojo was seen and that gave him where his servant is. He headed to the dojo and was expecting to find 3rd relaxing our swing the shinai as if there was an enemy.

But he was surprised to see 3rd inside a big bubble, releasing strong attacks and was obviously shouting but it seems like the bubble was sound-proof. “3rd!” he called but the servant didn’t notice his presence. “Who trapped her there?” he asked to himself and touched the bubble and identified its components and quickly deactivated the spell.

“Argh!” 3rd shouted and threw a dagger towards Shindou who quickly dodged it. “Shindou…?” 3rd asked and settled down, “Are you okay?! Who trapped you there?!” the boy asked, holding her shoulders. “You shouldn’t have destroyed it…” she muttered. “What?”

“You shouldn’t have destroyed it!” 3rd shouted to which her master was taken aback. “Is there something wrong?” Shindou asked and sat down beside her servant, “Beta…” she whispered, “She shouldn’t have died,” Shindou snapped his head to 3rd, “What made you say that? She is an enem—“
