15. Train Stations

At the train station
she once said,
'Nothing is scarier
than having
what you really, really want.
By then, you'll have something
very important to lose.'

I guess she was right.
When I rode the train
it just becomes dejavu
all those girls
in yellow sweaters
their hair damp
because of the rain.

I dont even know now
which station to stop at
trains nowadays comes in a blur
and leaves just the same---
(another dejavu of her.)

Stations never give the reason
why people come and go
all they shout
are places on signboards
and lost children
here and there
waiting to be claimed.

And without that girl
wearing a yellow sweater
her hair damp
because of the rain,
I am lost
with no one to claim.
