I woke up craving my pickles so I went to get them. I was now 20 weeks pregnant and I was pretty big. Today we were going to find out the gender of the baby even though me and August were sure that it was a boy.
But my bestfriend was throwing my a baby shower along with a gender reveal party in one.
From these past weeks, me and august were pretty much back to normal since the whole incident. He still didn't trust me as much as he did but i'll just have to build that up again.
August was upstairs in the shower so I decided to wear all blue for the baby.
I did my eyebrows, and applied some lip gloss and I was set.
August came down with pink on. He wanted a boy too but he wanted to show some support if we had a girl.
We pulled up to the place and everybody was here. My whole family & friends and August's whole family and friends. We greeted them all.
"Hey Shaun." We say giving him a hug. Shaun was like august's bestfriend since high school.
"Okay everybody take your seats. Mom and Dad come up to the stage." Duffey says with a microphone referring to us and we do as told.
"First were going to start off with the gender reveal. So we're going to have August and Kaleah open this bottle and it's going to reveal the gender of the baby!" Duffey says. I was pretty nervous and I could feel my eyes warming up because the tears were ready to come.
She handed us the bottle.
"1....2....3...."
We pulled it on cue with 3.
"AWWWWWWWWW!!! It's a girl!!!" Everyone shouts out which makes me cry. August's and all of my family and friends comes over to comfort me. I'm not mad that it's a girl I just wanted another boy.
"Congrats August and Kaleah!!" My bestfriend shouts which makes everyone say the same.
I sat at the table while august was getting my food and I saw his mom talking to him. It looked like she was speaking some sense into him about having his first child.
He brought my food over to be and sat down beside me.
"I'm so happy." He says in the middle of no where.
"Me too." I say leaning in kissing him.
For the remainder of the party, I opened baby gifs that included diapers, bottles, car seats, clothes, and toys. I was so thankful I had the family I did.

The next day after the party, me and august went to the store and mall and got a whole bunch of baby girl stuff.
We painted our baby girls room gray and bought a white crib with pink accents and decorations. I already knew I was going to spoil her just like I do with kyrie.
We were making our last stop at baby's r us and we were going to pick up clothes , shoes & other things that we saw.
"Let's get these." I point out showing August while he nods and places it in the cart. We both had on sunglasses because we didn't want to be noticed by any fans.
After that, we headed home and put all of her clothes and shoes in the closet. We basically just organized her room.
"I'm so tired Aug." I say sitting on the floor while August finished putting her crib together. That was the last thing he had to do and we'd be finished.
"Then go lay down Ma. I'll be in there soon." I nodded and did as she said. I went in the room and laid down and slowly drifted off to sleep.
