Chapter 13: The talk

(Yuzu pov) 

I am about to leave when I hear mei call out to me don't do it yuzu don't I turn back "what is it mei I have to go to a fight across town" she looks to the baby then to me "can we talk please?" I sigh "mei every time we talk its always a fight and one of us ended up hurt or upset" shes pleading now "please?" I growl   "fine talk" she takes a deep breath "ok first things first the baby is a girl and her name is Yuzuki" my eye widen in shock "ok well good know that I have a niece," I say with heavy sarcasm she growls "next thing is I wanted to say I am sorry for everything" I look her eyes and I see heavy pain I want to take it away but I cant "mei i-" she cuts me off "I know how bad it hurts trust me i know cause its  the same on this side" I can hear it in her voice " mei I just wanna say that I am sorry to mei I just don't know what to say its just awkward timing  plus I don't know what you want  me to do mei" I run my fingers through my hair.

"you say you want me there by your side but you don't say how and it really confuses me mei" I look to the kid " I love her mei I do I am her aunt after all but" I look to mei " I love you but its hard" she stays silent for a minute "plus now if we were to get together there is a kid and your fiancé I would be a mistress and I don't want to be that" she whispers "he's not even signed as her father" my mouth goes wide "wait what?!" She smiles at my reactions "we got the marriage nulled he isn't even registered as her father we made a promise that the marriage was to be nulled if we found other people" I just stay silent so they cut ties then but it's still just fast and it's still hard "so what do you want me to do Mei" she sighs "I want you to help me and to get to know her even if you don't love me anymore or if you don't forgive me" she starts to tear up "mei I'll help you even though I don't forgive you I will help I'm not a monster mei although I have sharp teeth" I open my mouth and show the teeth and snap it shut "Your an idiot you know that".

I just laugh "yea you might be right about that ah anyways is that all you wanted to say?" She nods "ok then I'll see you later" I wink and then leave and I came running right back I really am an idiot and I'm tackled by harumin "yuzucchi where have you been these months" then suki walks up and prys her off of me  "she has been busy with her fights and her agents that set it up she is a champion fighter" she smirks at me "I don't know what your talking about" I look away she grabs my hand "so how'd it go" I squeeze her hand "it went well I said I'd help her" "Well I don't what to say about that but all I know is that you still love her and that you wanna be with her but you know you can't" I just stay silent "Look yuzu  I know you  to well so see even if you denied it reads all over your face" I just look away "I guess I came running right back to her huh" she smiles "yup anyway I wanna break up" I look at her confused "why?" She smiles "cause I love you like a friend and not more" I smile back "same here also good luck red" she laughs "you too blondie" we wave off as we go our ways you know life isn't so bad I look to my watch ah I wasted time I grab my keys and rush across town
