The arsenal isn't empty
The people are hungry
The jets kept flying
The children are still crying
Why is it hard to see
All we need is some peace
Not investment in weapons
But rather donations in needs
Isn't it obvious
The past should stay no more
An eye for an eye
Surely won't open more
The world won't get brighter
If we kept following
The wrong steps of our fathers
We should know better
Only us is not sufficient
If the powerful ones
Are becoming irrelevant
Puppets unrevealed significants
The world is collapsing
All the things told
Is like a prostitute
Saying she is a virgin
And all the wise ones can say is
Believe.
