Chapter 24

I woke up feeling horrible. I can't believe I fell for his tricks. I should have known he would do this to me. Drugging me with a spell/potion and using me for power, that's low. But whats worse is I actually fell for it. I fell in a love that wasn't real, too. Every thing he ever did was fake, just to get to me. I couldn't help it, I felt a tear slip down my face onto my hand. The waterworks wouldn't stop, continuing to drop down my face. I wasn't crying for John, I was crying because him. He made me think I loved him. He made me think we were actual mates. Worst thing was he used me. He looked and acted so sweet. I guess looks can be deceiving.

I heard the door slam open and in came Cole. He walked over and engulfed me into a comfortable hug, relaxing me a bit. I hugged back, crying into his chest. He began rubbing soothing circles on my back calming me more. For the past few days, Cole has been there for me. I don't know if we'll actually be together but I have a feeling. I cried myself to sleep that night with Cole, and in his arms. I didn't even need a blanket since he warmed me up so much.

COLE'S POV

I woke up to Arie's beautiful, angelic face. Even with her dried tears she was still so beautiful. I caught sight of a loose hair over her face. I couldn't help but but want to move it. I lifted my hand, moving it closer to her face. I was so close to moving it until she sneezed, an adorable sneeze, on my hand. She looked up at me, red making its way to her face.

I smiled and then it quickly escalated into laughter. If it was even possible, her face turned redder with embarrassment. I looked down and saw a smile making it way to her face. I felt her chest move and then saw she was full on laughing. We continued laughing together until it  hurt. Since I was moving so much, due to laughing, I fell off the bed, making her laugh harder. 

I felt myself become happier hearing her laugh, and it was because of me. Its funny how this woman managed to change my life so much. I truly did like her even before I found it we were mates, but I rejected her because of my dumb reputation. I wanted to keep it so badly, when really it wasn't needed in my life. After she left I became a complete mess. and when I saw her again it made my heart stop. She changed so much over the years she was gone, but that didn't matter to me, I just wanted her back. When she found her 'second chance mate' I knew something was wrong about it all.

I waited to see what he would do to her, and when he finally did what he did, I was surprised, but not as much as Arie. She though she loved him but we took some of her blood and the doctors examined it and found something in it. She quickly asked for an antidote after we told her so the doctors made one and gave it to her. She quickly took it. After a couple minutes, she said she lost all feeling for him. I stayed with her through it all and I heard her say things.

We stopped laughing I looked at her again. She stared at me for a while and I looked closely at her. I noticed she looked fragile and sad. I felt the urge to hug her and so I did. I was surprised to feel her hug back but I was also happy she did. Ecstatic even.

"I can't believe I fell for it." She whispered.

"It wasn't you fault."I replied.

"It was though."

"It's in the past and over now. Lets forget about it.

She nodded her head, pulled back, and looked at me.

"Thank you Cole. For everything." She smiled and I leaned in.

I saw her lean in a bit as well and I internally smiled. Our lips finally met and I kissed her softly. She kissed back the same way, keeping a steady pace. She pulled back and I frowned a bit. She smiled and I saw a hint of red on her cheeks.

"Too fast." She said.

"I will do whatever it takes to have you trust and love me. I lost you once, and I won't let that happen again. I finally found you and now i'll find my way to your heart, princess. No matter how long it takes me." I truthfully said.

"I know. I hope you find me, soon." She genuinely smiled. She pecked me on the lips and left to the bathroom.

I smile stretched across my face. Even if it was a tiny peck that lasted for only about three seconds it still felt great. 

"I'll find you, princess. Thats a promise." I whispered to a volume to where only I can hear.

That is the end of YOU LOST ME. I will be redoing some chapter. Mainly the short ones because there short and I feel they should be longer. If you are wondering about a sequel I am happy to say there will be. This was my first book ever on Wattpad and I thank everyone for reading. I hope more people will find it and read it. 

I will post the summary of it soon and then you can tell me if its good or not. If it isn't I will change it a bit until I have a couple good responses on it.
