5: it's time

"Ooo." Billie said, laughing.

They were watching the 70's show.

"I think you should go home now." Joel said.

"What time is it?"

"Four. How far is your house?"

"Not too far. I'll catch a bus."

"No, let me drive you."

"Oh. Okay."

Joel drove Billie near his house and Billie thanked him and walked into his house.

Of course, his mother was getting ready to go to work soon.

"Hi mom."

"Hi Billie."

The tension was increasing as Billie stood there, with his hands in his pockets waiting for his mom to say something.

"There's money on the table for pizza. I'll see you tomorrow. I love you."

"Love you too, mom."

He headed to his room and laid on his bed. He had the house all to himself.

"Eh, why not?" He said, taking off his layers and putting on house clothes, calling and ordering a pizza.

abillie: nothing . waiting for my pizza to get here. wanna come over?

whayley: yeah im coming

abillie: bring your pen

whayley: okay

He laid around, and Hayley walked to his room and threw the small vape pen at him.

"The queen has arrived." She said, with an evil grin.

"Hayley, lowkey I wanna fight someone."

"Wanna fight?" She laughed, taking off her earrings.

"Yeah." He said, standing up.

"No hard feelings?" She reassured.

"No hard feelings. Just punch, no biting, no scratching, and no kicking. No bitch slapping either. If you're gonna slap, slap like you mean it."

Hayley smiled and delivered a straight punch to Billie's shoulder.

They fought, Billie was relieved. Hayley was happy she could hit someone and they wouldn't hate her for it. It was a win-win.

Billie took a puff from the vape pen and so did Hayley.

Their pizza came and they finished it, and started to watch Orange Is The New Black.

"When are you gonna leave to Cali?" She asked,  putting her earrings back on.

"Ummm... Like in two days."

"Fuck, that sucks."

Billie was dreading the move, too. He was looking forward to it, but deep down, he was terrified.

"We can Skype!" She announced.

"Yeah, huh."

"Oh whale. I gotta go."

Billie handed her the vape pen.

She refused it.

"You have it. Have something to remember me by. Don't take off our necklace."

They got friendship necklaces in the fourth grade. It was one half of an Alien head.

"Thanks." He was grinning from ear to ear.

"See you around." She said, kissing Billie on the cheek.

"Bye."
