"It's been three hours and we still haven't seen anyone!"

I pouted, crossing my arms. We had been wondering inside the Sleeping Forest for hours now, but it felt like years had passed. I wasn't going to complain, but my feet were slowly starting to ache.

The Sleeping Forest was apparently quite known around that area, even Holy Knights were said to avoid it. It was seemingly a dangerous place, where people easily got lost and disappeared.

"Meliodas, are you sure about this? There's been no sign of anybody being here yet." Hawk said nervously, as he walked ahead.

"You're right Hawk. Are you two sure we'll find one of the Eight Deadly Sins here?" Elizabeth asked, looking at Meliodas over her shoulder, who I was walking besides.

"Probably." Meliodas said nonchalantly, with a blank look on his face. He turned to me, nudging my arm. "What do you think (Y/N), smell anything?"

I furrowed my brows, following captain's orders. I sniffed the misty air around us, hoping to catch a familiar scent, but the only thing I was able to smell was the mist, sadly. The mist was strange, shouldn't have smelled like anything at all, but it did. Maybe it was a diversion or trap. I shrugged my crossed arms. "Couldn't say."

Hawk jumped to a stop, ears flapping about, as he huffed. "You mean we came out here without any real evidence?!" He exclaimed. He looked around with discerning eyes. "I heard that there's a monster that lurks around here, watching and waiting..."

I scoffed. Don't think so.

"AaaAh!"

I jumped, startled. I looked beside me instinctively, checking to see if the Captain was alright, only to see him in front of me; groping Elizabeth's butt cheeks. I froze, and my eyebrows twitched uncontrollably. That little..! He hasn't changed at all! Hmph! Just like with Liz...

"What happened?!" Hawk exclaimed in fear.

Elizabeth squirmed, tears of fear in her eyes. I couldn't help but facepalm at her-no offense-stupidity. "I feel something grabbing me from behind!"

"Relax, it's just me." Meliodas said nonchalantly, as if his actions were normal.
Don't know if I should feel insulted or relieved that he doesn't do that to me.

"Oh, what a relief." Elizabeth said, swiping her forehead with the back of her hand in a 'phew' gesture. Huh?! Relief?!

"You're such a creep!" Hawk exclaimed in disgust.

I rushed to the Captain, slapping the back of his head harshly, smacking him into a tree. "Pervert! She's the Princess!"

"Sir Meliodas!" Elizabeth exclaimed, worriedly staring at him as he stood up, rubbing his aching head.

Meliodas narrowed his eyes at me, and I shivered. "What was that for?" He groaned in pain, rubbing the growing ball on his head.

I scoffed, crossing my arms again and turning away from him, walking ahead and grabbing Hawk by the ear. "We're going ahead!"
"Ow ow ow! You're hurting me!"

I let go of Hawk's ear and huffed, accidentally burying my fangs in my lips as I gritted my teeth. 'What was that for?' Really?! What do you think it was for?! Idiot! I walked with Hawk several meters away from Elizabeth and Meliodas, as I heard them talk about the forest and Elizabeth complain about something. My irritation stirred my inner beast, which hadn't been properly fed in a few months. My stomach growled loudly and I scowled. Really? Now?

"Come on slowpokes! Pick up the pace, would ya?" Hawk exclaimed.
"Coming!" Elizabeth replied shakingly, as she squirmed uncomfortably.

Meliodas smiled cheekily at Hawk. "Hey, hold your bacon. Nobody likes restless piggies."
I rolled my eyes at him. Haha, good joke. Nope.
"Whoah."
