"Sooooo? How did your date go?"

"Mum, shh, he's still outside!" You grab her pulling her into the lounge room.

"Don't leave him outside! It's too cold, bring him inside! Then i can meet him too." Your mum tried to keep in a little laugh.

As you were about to answer you heard the beep of a car horn. You opened the curtain and looked out the window seeing a black car and Chan inside it waving goodbye. You wave back and close the curtain as they drive off, turning back to your mum.

"He actually just left."

"Well now you can tell me everything!" Your mum grabbed your wrists and pulled you over to the couch. "Now what happened?"

"Not much.."

"Not much she says coming home at basically 7pm, i could have told you to come home 2 hours ago." Your mum tipped her head giving you a guilty look.

"Fine, fine. Go get yourself some tea, i'll wait." You grab the green pillow next t you and fall back into the couch.

"Alright 5 minutes!" Your mum says hitting your thigh and getting up, walking into the kitchen, turning on the kettle.

Your mum came back with a cup of tea , sat down next to you and had a sip, nodding that she was ready.

"Did you want the long or short version?"

"Girl i don't have work tomorrow, long please." She said taking a sip of her tea.

"Okay don't give up your hopes though, we're probably never seeing each other again, he' leaving for Korea, tomorrow i think."

"Aww and he wanted to spend his last day with you, how sweet!"

"Mum." You kind of snapped at her, laughing it off.

"Theres planes for a reason Yoonji." She eyed you off as she took another sip.

"Well, i din't even plan to meet up with him in the first place, he messaged me while i was hanging out with Nani and asked if i wanted to meet up with him before he left."

"So when and where do you meet up?" Your mum re-adjusted herself on the couch.

"I think around 3, it was after i had finished hanging out with Nani, and at the park. There's another story behind that, but i'll save it for a rainy day."

Your mum nodded her head.

"Anyways, we were at the park for a bit, then we walked to the café. I got a hot chocolate and he got a coffee. Then he walked me home."

"Cool itinerary, now details girl. Did you find out anything about him?" Your mum leaned over to the coffee table putting her tea on it.

"Well his birthday is October 3rd." You began.

"Please tell me your found out how old he is?!" She said throwing her head back.

"He's 21..." You waited for your mum to disapprove.

"Perfect."

You looked shocked, "Really?"

"That's only a three year difference, better than 12 like your grandparents."

"I found his out before i met up with him, but i think he's a musician, he was up until early morning working on some of his music. I think that's why he's going to Korea, but he didn't like talking about it."

"Like one of your Kpop boys?"

"He wouldn't be," You tried to convince yourself. "I would know about him if he was. He's Australian so my friends would non stop be talking about him." That made perfect sense to you, and that's what you believed.
