(Pattie) I heard the door shut then justin came down and sat next to me on the couch and turned the tv on
Pattie: Justin what happen to the girl
Justin: she gets beat by her stepdad and her stepbrother
I didnt know what to say to that but i wanted to know how bad it was
Pattie: Is that all?
Justin: no, her stepdad rapes her sometimes
Pattie: show me her bruises
Justin:...ok but you have to quiet i don't wanna wake her
he got up and i followed him to his room he turned on the light and slowly took the covers from her small body this poor girl was nothing but skin and bones there were deep cuts and purple bruises everywhere some were still bleeding it was strange that some of them were clearing faster then others justin must have noticed my confusion because he started speaking
Justin: when i got to her room i put her in a bath of warm water she cried but stopped after a while
Pattie: thats my boy you did good justin, i'm off to bed
Justin: night mom
(Justin) i was going to go to the guest room so i don't wake her but before i could open the door i heard her sweet voice
star: justin?
Justin: whats wrong babygirl why are you crying
Star: it hurts
Justin: i'm gonna go get some stuff to put on you ok
Star: ok
I went and got the stuff i was gonna put it in my hand then i realized she was gonna have to take her clothes off in order for me to put it on her bruises
Justin: do you want me to do this because your gonna have to take your clothes off
Star: you put me in the bath today its fine
Justin: ok
after putting the stuff on her bruises i laid in the bed next to her and asked her the questing i've been wanting to ask since the day we met
Justin: star?
Star: yea justin?
Justin: will you be my girlfriend?
Star:...yes
kissing her on the forehead i pulled her close to me and fell asleep with the biggest smle on my face
