"Raven food is here." I say for the third time squatting beside her and trying to shake her awake. She blinks her eyes open then looks up at me.
"What?" She mumbles
"Food's ready." I say
"Oh." She mumbles then sits up and stretches. I help her stand up then we walk over to Josiah and Valerian.
"Here." Valerian says handing us each a slice of I'm gonna go with deer meat.
"Thanks." I say
"Thanks Valerian but I'm not that hungry." Raven says from beside me placing the meat back down.
"Are you ok?" I ask turning to face her.
"Yeah just tired and not hungry." She says then turns away and lays back down in her spot on the ground. I put the meat down and Valerian nods me over to Raven. I walk over to her and squat next to her.
"Raven." I say and she rolls over and looks up at me. I place my hand to her forehead and then remove it.
"You're burning up." I say
"I just don't feel good it's fine." She says and I nod sighing. I stand up then walk away heading back over to Josiah and Valerian.
"We need to move from here. They're probably on top of us and if we don't move they'll get in." I say
"Ok we'll head out tomorrow morning then." Josiah says and Valerian nods in agreement.
"We all need sleep for the night. We'll leave at dawn." Valerian says
"Ok." I reply then turn and walk back over to Raven.
"We are leaving tomorrow at dawn." I say
"They're getting closer and stronger." She says
"How do you know?" I ask
"I can feel it." She replies and I nod looking at her curiously.
"I don't know how but I know I can. We need to leave soon. Not tomorrow because they are grouping up and will attack tonight." She says
"Raven why do you look so pale?" I ask
"Something's happened." She says
"I'm being called." She says
"By who?" I ask
"A- a man. He's hidden in the shadows. He- he's tall." She says I look down to her and see her eyes glazed over.
"Where is he Raven?" I ask. She holds her hand up and points to a wall. I snap at Valerian and Josiah and they walk over to the wall.
"Nothing's here." They say
"Raven where is he?"
"There's a room it's dark and cold. There's chains rattling. A man is in the corner hidden he's standing up. He is calling my name." She says still obviously in a trance of some sort.
"Ask his name." I say motioning to Josiah and Valerian. I connect my mind with Valerian's and tell her there's a hidden door.
"He says his name is Lost." Raven says and the cave starts to shake.
"Eric!" Josiah shouts and I look away from Raven too look up at him.
"He needs help! He's screaming for help! The chains are tightening fire fire fire! He's captured burning to ash!" Raven yells and I go to place my hands on her shoulders to wake her up but yank my hands back at the heat.
"He's burning and dying! His soul is gone, he's broken and lost!" Raven yells and Josiah yells and I stand up and look over where they left.
"Josiah!" I yell
