"Thank you." My brother says.
"I've done nothing." Eric says
"You've done enough by staying with her and watching her." He says
"Well that's my job." Eric says
"Does she know yet?" My brother asks
"No." Eric says
"You're gonna have to tell her that you're her guardian fallen angel-"
"No just her handler." Eric corrects him.
"Handler." My brother says
"I know but I figured you didn't want her to know as of now." Eric says going back to the subject before....
What the hell?
"I didn't. But you and I both know that wasn't a nightmare she had." My brother says
"I know it wasn't because I was in the shower and she was wide awake I had only been in the shower for five minutes before she screamed. I felt a cold breeze as if a portal had opened but I wasn't certain till she screamed." Eric says
How would he know I had been caught in a portal?
"Put a shield around this room. She nor you get out and nobody else once I leave gets in, until we figure out who breached our security outlets." My brother says
"Understood." Eric says and I assume my brother nods as my bedroom door opens and then shuts again. I keep my eyes sealed being sure he thinks I'm asleep and suddenly hear a low rumble. I make no movement or sound as the rumbling gets louder then ends.
"Sleep well Raven." He whispers and kisses my forehead obviously still thinking I'm asleep...
I hear him lay back down in the bean bag and I roll so I'm facing him but keep my eyes shut.
What are they keeping so secretive from me?
And with that I fall asleep.
