Chapter 2

Lisa's POV

My Mom left the building and left me with my new Assistant. She knows that there's some papers that I need to sign and check that's why she doesn't want to waste my time but what she doesn't know that, I don't want to be left alone with my new Assistant.

It's not like I don't want her here, it's just... so awkward! When I look at her, it's like she is not bothered by the situation that we both in. She is just doing her job as my Assistant. Good thing that my office is not fully glass, because I can't bear that she will see my red face.

I can't finish my own work.

I stood up to get my coat and then, the door open revealing Jennie peeking her head through to see me. "Do you need anything else, Ma'am? A coffee? A food?" I furrow my brows and didn't remember that I called her.

"I didn't call you, Ms. Kim. I don't recall." I said while putting me my coat on me. She enter my office and close the door behind her

"I was just asking, Ma'am. Your mother told me that you didn't have your breakfast earlier. I just wonder that..." She lowly said.

"Well, no I did not need something but I need you to check the calls that are going to call me later because I will leave but I will come back. I just need to go and see someone else." I smiled at her. She nod and smile. "Oh, please call Park Chaeyoung. I know that I already give you the contacts. Tell Chaeyoung to meet me at the cafe shop." I added and left her.

I quickly go down to my car and once I am in my car, I felt like I zoomed out. She doesn't change at all.

I inhale and exhale because I need to get my ex out of my head. "This will be a long day." I start the engine.

~At the Cafe Shop~

I patiently waiting for Park Chaeyoung to come and see me at this cafe shop. I don't know how to start my story to Chaeyoung but I know that she will flip. I already ordered her favorite drink and so do I.

When I about to drink my favorite drink, someone sat in front of me. I look up and see Chaeyoung staring at me. Heck. "Why are you looking at me like that, Park Chaeyoung?"

She didn't say anything, she is just breathing heavily. Did she ran just to make it here? Well, she is always like this when something is important.

"What? Say something, Chipmunk." I drink my drink while looking at her. And then she start speaking which caught me off guard.

"So... Jennie Kim is your new Assistant" She said while smirking. HECK! This creepy, Chipmunk!

I almost spill my drink in her face because of her smirk. "What is with the smirk, Park Chaeyoung! Did you already know that she will be my new Assistant. I won't get mad at you if you tell me honestly" I calmly said.

"Why are you so calm? She is Jennie Kim! Jennie Freaking Kim! Jennie Ruby Jane Kim is your fudging ex girlfriend who flew away from here to some other country. By the way, I am shock as you but I know that you are so shocked. Thanks for the drink" She said and start drinking her drink.

"I don't know..." I remembered my Grandmother. I chuckled because of the thought. "Remember what I told you earlier, Halmeoni start talking to me and asking me how I am... while, she knows that Jennie will be my new Assistant that's why she starts talking to me."
