Chapter 6

Lisa's POV

I am now on my way to the office and still nervous because of what happened last night with my grandmother, I don't even know why I am nervous and the thoughts that I am going with Jennie to that business makes me nervous. I know it's really normal when you are going to have some alone time... with your ex lover.

It's ridiculous to think about it but I thought that maybe we will go there as boss and assistant after all, I can tell because there's no in the hell I am going to interact with her.

I don't know why am I thinking about this and it's so crazy. I am currently at the elevator and it's going up to my floor so I need to expect that someone will welcome me with a... beautiful face.

Once the elevator opened, before I quickly got off the elevator, I fix myself before I walk towards my office. I got off the elevator nicely with wearing my 'Boss' face that they all recognize everyday when I arrived at this floor.

"Good morning, Ms." The employee greet me which is Hanbin. I greet back and bowed. The employees greet me and once I am close to my office, I saw Jennie to the corner to my eyes that she stood up and bowed.

"Good Morning, Ms. Manoban. Do you need some coffee?" She asked. I can feel that my heart is beating so fast. Can I not be nervous around her for once, just for this day only.

"N-No. I am fine, Ms. Kim. You should continue what you are doing..." Gosh! Why am I saying this! I should just said to her the simple 'no' like I always answer to my employees when they asked me if I want some coffee. "So Yeah... good morning" I quickly said and go to my office breathing heavily.

"Oh gosh... I didn't realize that I was not breathing when I was talking to her." I thought to myself when I got in. I shake my head and go to my desk to put my bag on top of it. And then, I heard a knock which cause me to be nervous again. "I said it's okay if you didn't bring me any coffee today, Ms. Kim" I said but it opened revealing Irene.

This girl! She will really cause me a heart attack if she continue not answering that she is not Jennie. I let out a breathe and sat on my chair. "What brings your here, Irene?" I asked her with my normal tone because it's not necessary that I should use my 'boss' tone at her.

"Don't 'what brings you here, Irene?' Thingy. You know why I am here." She sat at the sofa while comfortably lean on her back.

"I don't get you. Can you please enlighten me." I said and fixing the papers that I will sign and read later on. She look at me with a glare.

"Come on. You know what I am talking about. You were so nervous once Ms. Kim Jennie starts talking to you earlier. Do you know what you looked like earlier " I said before she laugh. Gosh, am I that obvious? I really bet that my employees saw that too and not just Irene.

"What is it?" She laugh loudly before she starts to talk again. This girl.

"You were like a dog earlier. A grumpy little dog but once you saw Jennie, you look like a shy little dog who saw your owner. Gosh, Jennie made you under that fast." I glare at her and she raise her hands. "Well, that's the truth. But what's really with you today. It's really strange for me and your employees to see you like that. Grumpy to shy person real quick." She said while grabing a magazine in front of her and start turning the pages aggressively. I let out a sigh.
