"What? What are you all talking about?" Kazemaru yells standing up, his voice doused in confusion. He glared at the group.
A small boy in the center, that was also wearing a captain band, was smirking at them. He had short spiky black hair that poked out on all ends. His scarlet red eyes, the same shade as the rest of the teams, glared at Kazemaru, as if holding a grudge against the teal haired soccer player, despite never to have met him before.
"Shut up...I didn't come here to listen to morons babble.." The raven spoke with venom dripping down every single word.
"What did you say?!" Kazemaru yells angry at the insult that seemed to come out of nowhere.
Gouenji and Kidou also got up from their place on the ground, confused and angry at the random insult.
"We're only here for one person....and that's you Mamoru..." He informs the small group as he lifted his hand and pointed at the Raimon captain. The three gasped and turned toward the said brunette. They just then realized the expression that Endou was giving for a while now. Endou himself slowly stood up. There was something off about him. Something that just wasn't right for someone with his type of personality.
"What are you doing here...Takeru?" Endou's voice was different, as he sneered at the boy's name. And not the good kind. Kidou and the others almost had a hard time recognizing it. Was this really their captain?
Endou's brown hair continued to shade his face, blocking his eyes from view. The fist of his free hand was clenched and an odd feeling of anger and betrayal running through him. Of course, his teammates did not know that. All they did know was that something was happening that was beyond their understanding and control.
"What do you mean? Why the hostility...captain?" 'Takeru' says smirking evilly and tilting his head to the side. He was trying to get under the Raimon captains skin...and it was working.
Normally in a situation like this, Endou would be the calmest. But he just couldn't right now. The fact that he was here, standing in front of them with the rest of the team. It infuriated Endou to no end. After all that had happened...
"Don't call me that..I am not your captain." Endou replies darkly, for the first time he looks up at the small group still clutching his left shoulder. Takeru and his team's red eyes widen with shock before Takeru, seeming to lost his joking personality, grew serious and glared at Endou. As the said brunette did the same back, with the equal and unnerving, intensity.
The Inazuma soccer players looked at each other confused and concerned. Silence covered the field, this lasted for a good 5 minutes before someone spoke up,
"What's going on?" Kidou voiced their thoughts. Goeunji finally deciding to ask his captain for answers, goes over to Endou and places a hand on his uninjured shoulder.
"Endo-.."
Just as he was about to speak, he froze in shock. Endou's eyes....weren't their usual happy go lucky brown..but a horrible death striking scarlet red. Not only that, but the glare on his face was something he never thought he'd see on his friend. A look of pure hatred and anger.
Kidou and Kazemaru only seemed to get even more confused at Gouenji's reaction. They stood there, nervous on what exactly was happening. Gouenji pulls his hand away and steps back, confused and shocked
Takeru finally gave a response as his lips turned into an insane-like smirk.
"You say you're not our captain anymore...but that power..it still latches on to you doesn't it? The darkness from deep within your soul! You can never lock it away, Mamoru"Takeru laughs insanely.
Suddenly Endou's uninjured hand comes up in a fist, at first it would seem as though he would punch the evil child in front of him, but what he did next was unexpected. He punches the side of this face right on his cheek. Just by the sound of it, you knew that there was going to be some heavy bruising.
Takeru immediately stops his laughing and looks over at his so-called 'captain' confused.
Endou picks his head up and looks over at Takeru. Takeru gasps. Endou's warm brown eyes found their way back.
"I won't let the power control me. That's all I have to say to you." Endou nonchalantly would start to walk away.
"If you think you can lock away the power forever, you're wrong. Look where it got Misaki." He crossed his arms. Endou stopped walking.
"Mamoru, whether you like it or not. You're going to be coming with us eventually. The darkness will consume you."
The three Raimon soccer players resolved themselves. No one was going to take away their captain.
"I don't know who you guys are. And who you are to our captain," Kazemaru intervenes, "But There's no way you're taking Endou anywhere without our consent."
The three of them stood in the middle of Endou and the mysterious soccer team. Their arms were crossed as well and they stood resolute like unrelenting statues.
Endou looked behind himself, touched by the words that his friends were saying. He was worried about what their reaction would be to this. Looks like he shouldn't have been concerned after all. Takeru smirked, his team doing the same.
"I'm sorry, but honestly you don't get a say in this matter." He replied cockily. "This is between us and Mamoru. Not you peasants-"
"Actually they do," Endou replied cutting them off and appearing side by side with his buddies. "They're my teammates and most of all my friends. There's no way I'm leaving them to go anywhere." Endou's happy go lucky smile was then revealed. Relieving the three Raimon boys and the tension.
"Fine. I guess we have no choice then. We'll just have to destroy Raimon first." Takeru growled.
"We'd like to see you try!" Gouenji yells smirking with his friends. They were a team, and they're not gonna back down from any challenge!
"You have two weeks before we return to this soccer field. At least put up some form of entertainment." He growls once more before a large swirl of wind, whips through the field making the Raimon members close their eyes. When they opened them; the mysterious team was gone.
