And so he walked, down the dark and chilly street. Nothing but thoughts of the recent events was on his mind. He felt frustration, anger, and confusion. But he had to hold those emotions down...or else...
Endou stopped walking and suddenly turned around, sensing a familiar presence.
Bright scarlet eyes greeted him.
Endou gasped in shock. Small tears filled his eyes.
"M-Misaki-chan..."

---Episode 9: CHANGE---
The new school week once again began with a usual morning soccer practice for the Raimon team. Well...almost usual.
The team had begun their morning soccer skirmish but had yet to see their captain. Normally it would be fine since their captain tends to sleep in quite a lot, but being an hour and 45 minutes late is quite concerning for the soccer freak.
"Where is he? He should be here by now..," Gouenji inquires walking up to Kidou, hoping he had the answers the silver-head was searching for. Kidou shook his head clueless on the current whereabouts of their friend.
"I'm worried though..." Kidou whispers for only Gouenji and himself to hear.
Gouenji, at first confused, widened his eyes in realization. "You're talking about those guys from the riverbank...They wouldn't have gone after him....would they?"
"That's exactly what I'm worried about..."
"Hey guys...," Kazemaru called out from behind them. "I need to tell you guys about something that happened on Saturday..."
——After Practice
A particular brunette stood in front of the school gates. His left hand clutched his school bag tightly, almost stopping the blood circulation from getting to his fingertips.
Dark circles took their place underneath his now more maroon looking eyes. By his appearance, people would assume he hadn't slept for weeks. His hair was in disarray and was mostly covering his tanned face.
He took a deep breath and walked forward.
But he knew...
Nothing would ever be the same again.
Two familiar voices called out ahead of him.
"Endou!," They exclaimed simultaneously, in a relieved tone. He immediately looked up, snapping him out of his thoughts. The soccer captain forced a smile on his face at the sight of Gouenji and Kidou and ran forward.
"Hey guys! Sorry, I'm late!," Endou yells catching up to them.
Kidou raised an eyebrow.
"Late? You completely missed practice...," The strategist states concerned. "Are you alright? We heard what happened on Saturday? With the crash?"
"Oh! Uh, yea I'm fine. I just was a bit shocked from it and my schedule was really thrown off...so I accidentally slept in...," Endou laughed awkwardly and scratched the back of his head.
The two players sweat dropped and sighed at their captain.
'Classic Endou....'
