Endou and the others had left the field by now as the navy blue sky started to turn to an abyss black.

Since it had gotten so late, Endou had offered his house to his three teammates. They, after getting permission from their guardians, agreed. Which brings us to the present moment:

Silence hung in the air as the walked quietly. It was quite alarming for a group like this one, yet understandable if they reflected on what had happened not only an hour ago.

Endou was uncharacteristically silent as he led his friends to his house. He knew he would have to do it. He would have to explain. And even though he wasn't particularly fond of the idea, after witnessing the support his friends gave him, he knew that giving them answers was the least he could do.

"Endou..," Kidou finally spoke up shattering the silence. "Who were those guys?" He questioned as they continued to walk. The three curious members looked at their captain, who continued to face forward. He suddenly stopped and turned around, his eyes were focused on their feet as if ashamed, and they saw a deep sorrow, never seen before, in his eyes. It was appalling.

"Kidou...guys...I'm sorry for hiding things from you. And......And I promise to explain everything." He looks up a new light born in his eyes as he smiled. "It's the least I can do!..... After all... you supported me without exactly knowing anything." He would scratch the back of his head, nervously. His friends would once again be relieved for the thousandth time that day. Kazemaru casually puts a hand on Endou's uninjured shoulder. The three of them would be smiling, or in Kidou's case, smirking positively.

"Alright! Let's get to your house first, we can bandage that shoulder, get some food and then we can discuss everything." Kazemaru declares. Everyone nods eagerly and they take off towards the brunettes house.

----TIME SKIP---- (Is this Fanfiction cliche enough for you yet?)

They had finished eating and were hanging out in Endou's room as Kazemaru bandaged Endou's shoulder on his bed. The bruising had been quite bad on his cheek as well. Endou's mom had freaked out thinking her son had actually gotten into a fight. They quickly came up with a lie and hoped for the best. Surprisingly, the mother had believed them. Hopefully.

Gouenji was sitting against the far wall, as Kidou sat in a chair. The tension that had existed on the street before, came back, but half as strong.

As the two finished up bandaging the goalkeeper's shoulder, Kidou's patience reached its limit.

"They messed you up pretty bad with only just a soccer ball. Who were they, Endou?" He suddenly inquires.

Gouenji decided to join in.

"I also think it's time you tell us. What exactly is happening and..who we are going to be fighting?"

Endou's happy go lucky expression turned somber.

"I do owe you the explanation. And with everything that's bound to go down...you need it." As Endou finished his sentence as Kazemaru finishes tying up the bandage. The teal hair boy put down the medical kit and then, turned his attention towards his Captain.

"This story is not particularly one I'm proud of. Something that's really stained my past....But, I can't back out now. I thought I could run from it. Turns out I can't. Not anymore." Endou started. He felt pain even thinking about this topic, but he could no longer hold it in.

"When I was younger my mom hated the fact that I loved to play soccer. After all, soccer took Grandpa away from her, she thought it would happen to me too. So she sent me to go to my grandmothers. I lived in Okinawa for the 3 years before I started Junior High here at Raimon..." Endou continued with his elbows on his knees, sitting at the end of his bed looking down at the floor.

"I still never gave up on Soccer and would go and secretly play during the first year there. I could never give up something as magical as this sport. It meant everything to me...It still does. It was the second year that things unknowingly went downhill for me. As I went into the next year, I just wanted  to be apart of a REAL soccer team." Endou suddenly looked up his friends, startling them.

"That's when I decided to join the school's soccer team in secret. The Dark Knights."

His eyes flashed a bright red before going back to its usual golden brown.

Yes, this one is quite short compared to other ones. However, this is because the next chapter will be a bit different. Til next time.
