~Peter's Pov~

I was still adjusting to Jocelyn living in the camp. She didn't live in a normal tree house like the rest of us, instead she slept in the side of a cave wall, guarded by either Tyson or Wolf. Sadie still hadn't returned to camp, it had been four days. I wonder if she's hurt, she could be dying. Even though Sadie was part of this pack she wasn't immortal, sometimes I think they all forget that. Talia hadn't moved from a dark corner of the camp since Sadie left. It all seemed a little strange, stranger then normal I mean. I felt a small tug on the back of my shirt. I turned around and looked down to see Usagi. She's just a little girl, this must all be really confusing to her. I wonder if she was even around when Jocelyn was here the first time. "Peter," she said looking up at me with sparkling eyes. I'm going to have to explain all this to her. A huge smile lit up her face as she pulled out a knife and dangled it in my face, "wanna go kill a squirrel!" She cheered. I could feel my face turning blank as my brain turned to mush. Here Sadie is missing and everything I thought I knew about little girls is dead. She looked at me like I was weird and shrugged her shoulders as she skipped off into the forest. Am I the only one the least bit concerned about Sadie?! Aidan waved for me to come over by him and I began my walk to complete dumbfoundedness. I could feel myself getting stupider just by hanging out with Dante and Aidan. "So you got the blues?" He asked me with a wink and I looked at him confused. "What do you mean?" I asked him, what on earth are the blues? "It's okay to be missing Sadie, I mean if you have a thing for her you should just kiss her." He teased, I was right, I truly am getting dumber just being in his presence. "Am I the only one the least bit concerned about Sadie?!" I accidentally yelled and he looked a little shocked and taken aback. He staggered to find words, "listen Peter, none of us are worried, because this has happened before. The only one who seems to be having a mental breakdown is you," he looked over to Talia huddled in the corner, "and Talia, but she's just in a mood. Sadie will come back she always does." He stormed then marched away from me. I looked to Talia, some mood, I have never seen this mood before. Something was really wrong with her, I could feel it. I cautiously approached her as if I was walking on ice and with every step it cracked beneath my feet. When I got close to her she quickly lifted her head and glared at me with dark blue, almost pitch black eyes. I felt shivers race down my spine, "Ta-Ta-Talia." I stammered as she glared into my soul. It felt as if she was piercing my heart with a million daggers. "Go away." Her words were cold and calm. That was all it took for me to quickly race back into the warmth of the sun shining down on the clearing. I pray I never have to experience a moment like that ever again. Even though I was in the sun I could still feel a sense of biter cold lurking around me. I have to shake this, that's it I'm going to the forest. Maybe I'll find Usagi. I picked up my feet, quickly shuffling out of camp, trying to shake this darkness that had surrounded me. Am I really having a break down? Am I really going insane? I stopped dead in my tracks, my face turned pale and fear filled my eyes as a hand fell upon my shoulder. This is it, I'm going to die. "Shhh," a voice behind me whispered and another hand reached down and I was brutally yanked up a tree. "Whaaaa," I wailed and a hand slapped my mouth covering it before I could say another word. I quietly sat on a tree branch, my back against the trunk. In front of me was the familiar face of Talia, her eyes were ice blue now. How on earth do her eyes change?! "Be silent, don't say a single word," she whispered in warning. She looked down and I peered over the edge to see what she was looking at. I felt my eyes open wide when I saw Usagi, drenched in blood, dragging a brown bear across the ground. I looked at Talia who was watching the young girl with curiosity. Usagi asked me to go kill a squirrel and now she's dragging a bear, wait was Usagi planning to kill me?! When Usagi was no longer in sight I looked over to Talia who was intently looking at me. "Do you think she was planning on killing me today?" I quietly asked her, just in case Usagi was still around. Hopefully she would insure me it was all just in my head. "Oh yeah totally, this Usagi hates your guts," she said chuckling. I felt my face turn white as a ghost as she confirmed my worries. Wait, this Usagi? What was Talia talking about? I could tell she knew what I was thinking as she grinned. "Great chat Peter," Talia chimed before hoping down and dashing off. If I chased after her for answers it would just be a waste of time. I guess I have to figure this one out on my own. I jumped down and someone broke my fall as I slammed them against the ground. Crap, if this is Usagi I'm as good as dead. I was so thankful to here the familiar voice of Ashton yell from under me, "get off of me you big baboon!" She furiously yelled and I scrambled off of her. She stood up and brushed off the front of her dress. "Thank goodness it's you!" I yipped cheerfully, hugging the confused purple haired girl. "Get the hell off of me Peter!" Her voice blaring through the forest. She pushed me off of her then proceeded to slap me in the face. I shrugged it off, perhaps I deserved it for crushing her beneath my body, I'm just so relived she isn't Usagi. "Seeing since you so rudely landed on me dumb ass, you can carry me back to camp," she demanded and jumped on my back. I trudged back to camp carrying her all the way there. I guess I can't complain though, at least she didn't try to kill me.
