My Mistake (Luuks POV)

      It all started when I went into that fruit store before me and Astell left the village. This kid called out my sisters name, I knew the boy. He started to talk about her as if he knew her. She hated him, or thats what i thought. 

      "Aimee was a great person, its to bad that she is gone, she would have made a great girlfriend." The boy said, then glanced over at Astell.

     " Hey Luuk do we need any fruit?... Luuk?"

    "NO." I didn't want her to hear us talking about her. That's when he said it.

    "You cant protect her you know, they will find you both." He whispered in my ear I tried not to punch him in the throat. So I turned around grabbed Astell's arm and we left the store. I felt angry. Mostly hatred. that was the same line the people that stole my sisters life. When we reached the forest She just kept asking questions, I couldn't find the words to say stop.

"Shut up." Except It was more cruel. I made the biggest mistake in my life. I told her that he wasn't loved and know one cared for her. He ran off with Ryan. I tried to stop her but it was too late. She was heartbroken, and that is all my fault. I kicked my horse, telling him to move. But when I reached her it was almost too late.

     I Jumped off my horse and ran to her side. There where two men next to her. I slide by her and Burnt the men alive. Their screaming Called the others to their side. I put A fire Sphere around her to protect her.

   "KILL HIM!!" The men started to circle me, some men had bows others axes and the rest swords. I took out the Archers first, I blew the swords men above the trees and buried them into the ground with the roots of the trees. Then after all the magic I had used on all the men, it was just me and a average sized man with an ax.

  I looked back at Astell, Then My sphere of fire froze, But this wasn't ordinary Ice, It had the form of black crystals, that eventually turned white, The Girl I love Has Crystal Ice magic.

Suddenly a white wolf comes out of the woods and attacks the man, He dug his fangs deep in the mans throat. ripping out of his throat. He ran past me and tried to approach Astell. Astell wouldn't let him near her, The wolf seemed to know this. SO he just flopped to the ground, and laid next to her a few inches away. I got a little bored waiting for her to wake up so I decided to try melting the Ice Crystals. The wolf Stops me, He jumps on top of me, I was knocked to the ground, He didn't growl, Only stared, His eyes where red, the color of blood, the same color of red on his fur. His eyes where cold, but fierce. He was a wolf that protects people.

   He got off me and... I couldn't explain it But he woke her up. Just by licking her face once. then He looked me in the eyes and then howled, He left immediately when she woke up.

   " ASTELL!!! YOUR AWAKE." i ran to her and gave her a big hug. I even kissed her on the cheek, I was so happy she was okay, She started to look around and saw the burned bodies and the ones that where  Crushed but the roots of trees.

"Why are you here?" She asked me but I knew she was going to ask so I have an answer simple really.

" Because I-I... I shouldn't have said what I said I was just upset because that boy reminded me of someone that I lost awhile ago. Im sorry Astell please forgive me." I dont know why but I couldn't tell her how I felt I wanted to say because I love you but those words just stopped in my throat and so I said something else

" I forgive you Luuk." We looked right into each others eyes. Although she was safe, Her eyes showed me that she was afraid, and it was fairly easy to tell, She started to cry again.

"Why are you crying."

"My mother whipped my memories of my home and I have been dreaming them, that man wasn't my father that I stayed with but he was My mothers best friend. They are coming for me, Luuk They will kill us. We have to reach the mountains we will be safe there, PLEASE LUUK!" I didn't know what to say I was so shocked, But her mother whipped her memories to protect her.

   " shh shh, We will go to the mountains and I will protect you, I will send word to my father saying that I shall stay longer with you. No One will ever hurt you ever again, I swear on my life. if they take you I will hunt them like a dog and i will kill them. I will do anything to keep you safe Astell, anything." she said nothing but smiled at me but she was still crying. I put my arms around her, I pulled her closer to my chest. She cried until she ran out of tears. She fell asleep in my arms. Ryan then came over and laid down so she could use him as a very uncomfortable pillow. so i laid her down and put a blanket over her. How was I able to fall in love with her so easily?
