The One

Wednesday

So today was the day that I would go and get my dress so I did. I got like a cream coloured dress with diamonds and gems all over the top of it then I got Kurt Geiger heels that were gold a shiny and then my mum planned for me to get my hair done at our clouds salon and then to get my nails done. So I was quite excited for Friday because it was obviously prom!!  and I go to spend the night with Ashton.  My mum sent me to school late that day because i was out getting my prom stuff but the school u erratic that so I was ok. I walked through that heavy door once again then Cate ran over to me with a very worried look on her face.“Cate what's matter?" I said sounding worried but I obviously wasn't cause I didn't know what to be worried about! “ OLIVIA WERE WAS YOU THIS MORNING!" “ I went to  get my prom stuff for Ashton so he would be suprised!" “Olivia I have some shocking news so I think you should sit down." “So we went to the canteen and locked th  doors so we were private.“So whats this shocking news then?" Cate took a deep gulp of water and then she hesitated but she said “ Ashton isn't in today because he is at the hospital ...... he found out that he has CANCER!" Then all of a sudden my heart felt like it had just smashed into small but sharp and painfull  pieces that started to dig into my chest like a knife. Then my eyes felt very heavy and then they just flooded and flooded and then it really hit m  like a bullet. I went home that day feeling alone and uncomfortable than ever before. My mum felt real bad on me So she phoned Ashton mum and then she came up to my room. “Hey babe .. I just phoned Ashtons mum.....she told me his ward number....do you wanna go?" then I pulled My self my  up and said “sure!". So my mum and I travelled to the hospital,we stopped of for some flowers and a card and then we reached the hospital. I got in there and the smell mad  me wanna puke! Honestly there were about 10 tramps.... wait now I feel sly their were about 10 homeless dudes waiting for soup and support. Then t I sat next to a little girl with pig tails and blonde hair. she  then asked “why are you here?" I replied “I'm here to meet my boy frie... I mean FRIEND. he just found out he had ermm ... cancer." Then a tear started to fall and the little girl noticed “ Hey it's o.k oh by the way I'm Jessica I'm here because I fell and got glass in my chest." she basically answered my next question. it was going to be Why are you here in that hospital bed? but no w it didn't matter I guess. Then she told a joke that kinda made me laughter but I just smiled.“ you really are upset about this aren't you?" “ yeah my poems on Friday and I don't think he will be my date any more as he got that desise." “well don't let that get you down ,go in their and see him ,tell him how you feel!" “ You as a really sweet girl you know" “ in lost my mum when I was five so I try to make her proud!" “ do fancy a boy?" “ yeah his name is Daniel Crawl." “  well if you wish really hard he should certainly here with some flowers and lift if he loves you back!" Then a small boy came through the door carrying a card and flowers and a box of chocolates and said “ Oh errm .. hi Jessica this and this and this are for you cause I like ... well I .. l..o...v..love you" she blushed and gave him a hug and then a little kiss on the cheek before going Into theatr
