- Just A Touch - [A Simon x Markus Story]

- Chapter 7: Advice -

We are out on an expedition. We need more blueblood for Simon. He really used a lot of the ones we are storing. It's just me, Josh and North. I wish he was here. I would've been more comforted. But, he needs to rest. I don't want him to get more hurt than he already is. I need to talk about those feelings to someone. Maybe they would know what this feeling is? Who knows. But who would that person be? Would I find the right person to talk to? The only wisest person I know of is Lucy. But, I can barely understand what she's saying. Simon is next. But he's not here at the moment and I'm scared to let him know about those feelings. Next is Josh... JOSH! Josh would know for sure! Maybe... I don't know. Well, I trust him and if I told him not to tell anyone, he won't. And plus, he might know something about it from his students!

I walk up to him and pull him away from North: "Hey, can I talk to you about something...?" "Sure. What is it..?" I respond: "Well, I'm having strange feelings about... Simon." He looks at me with a weird look on his face, as if he doesn't know where I'm going with this: "Uh huh... go on." "Well, every time I see or talk to Simon, I feel... weird. It feels like my heart is getting tickled and my stomach as well. I just, I can't tell what it is. It feels amazing, I have to say but, I don't know what it is..." Josh chuckles, smiles and looks at me straight in the eyes: "You just repeated exactly what one of my students told me. He looked for advice for a certain emotion he couldn't place his finger on." I knew it! I just knew Josh would have information on this emotion! "So apparently, the emotion is called love." Love? I'm in... love? I love Simon..?  I... love Simon... hahaha... Wow. I'm- I'm in love! I smile as I look down. "I'm... in love." Josh continues: "To start your relationship as lovers, you have to make a move. You have to hug him, talk to him in a flirty way, or even..." He nudges me a few times. I look at him and smile: "Yeah... thanks." Suddenly, North interrupts our conversation: "Hey! We're here!" 

We're done with the expedition. We grabbed as many thirium packs as we can and remained unlocated. I couldn't stop thinking about Simon. It's heartwarming to know that you're in love. I hope he feels the same way as well. I'm very happy I solved this mystery. All these feelings and sensations were all side effects of... Love. It's such a beautiful emotion. I hope my first experience with it won't be horrible. But, now that I know I have special feelings for Simon, I have discovered many things like how he looks, how he acts, how he looks at me. It's all so cute and loveable. I'm suppressing the urge to just run to Jericho as fast as I can and hug him. Just run into his arms and stay there for as long as I can. Warm him up with my body heat.

We arrived at Jericho. I walk straight to Simon's room. I knock on the door and wait till I hear the words of acceptance: "Come in." I slowly open the door, greeting him with a smile. I'm so happy to see that he's okay and healthy. I place my bag full of thirium packs next to his bed, walk over to his left side and sit down. I reach for his hands, hold them tight and look at him deep into his eyes:

"I've learned something new today. And it's something I'm very happy to share with you."
