When Chris and I return to the States, we're both surprised to meet with Hunnigan at the University. At first, I don't know what to think. I mean, to the Division of Security Operations watched what happened in New York, so they put me down as K.I.A. So why is Hunnigan here now?

"Leon...you're alive?"

The brunette with glasses approaches me carefully. I want to say I remember her, but unfortunately, I don't. I look to Chris for help.

He doesn't know how to answer me, but he nods; I can trust this woman.

Well, better to have something to say than not, right? I put up a smile and I nod.

"Yeah, I'm alive."

Hunnigan hugs me, and I briefly hug her back. She takes a step back and explains, "I had to come and see for myself. When I saw the reports being made about the Reaper Antibody through the W.H.O. network I thought it a little strange. However, now that I know that it had to be you, I can't wait to tell the Division that you're okay."

I glance at Rebecca, who's smiling from ear to ear.

Okay, so maybe I have nothing to be nervous about after all...

"LEON!"

I feel a pair of arms wrap around my neck as a blonde girl tackles me in a hug. She's joined by a young man with short hair in an Army cut, his demeanor reminding me of Wesker: proud, imposing, but there's a reserved nature in his disposition.

Wait...the woman...

"Sherry?" I ask tentatively, and the girl pulls back.

Yup, that's Sherry all right. I can never forget those blue eyes anywhere.

She nods and asks, "Are you okay? Hunnigan got in contact with me and told me that you were alive! How?"

I smile awkwardly. "It's a long story."

"A long story we can share over coffee," Rebecca chimes, and everyone nods in agreement. Even I can't resist a good meal...

We head out into the city, and while we're there, Sherry pesters me for answers. The young man she's with, I learn later, is named Jake and is Wesker's biological son. However, when I shake his hand, my mind flashes with tidbits of memories. We met in China, Langshiang, during the outbreak of the C-virus. His own body has a natural immunity to the virus, but it's nowhere near the caliber that mine has.

"So you basically have a hyper-immune system?" Jake asks. Rebecca nods and explains, "Leon's body has been able to withstand a total of four viruses thus far. It's amazing of how strong the Reaper Antibody is. It's just a shame that we can't use it to create vaccines for society to use."

Jake's brows knit. He asks, "Why is that?"

"It's how it's designed," I answer him, "It nearly solidifies when it leaves my body, which renders it nearly useless and toxic for anyone who takes it by itself."

Sherry frowns. "But then how are you alive? If you have the Antibody, then how in the world did you manage to have it?"

I frown and look at Chris again. My memories are already bad as is, so Chris answers Sherry for me. He tells her of what happened in New York, and how I supposedly "died" when I was thrown off the top of a skyscraper and fell onto the roof of a car that was parked alongside. While I listen, Hunnigan watches me.

"If the DSO know you're alive now, that does mean that you'll have to pick back up on missions."

I bob my head from side to side. "It's going to take me a bit of a while to get familiar with the DSO, but that's fine."
