Natsuki's POV:

I glowered at MC as he cuddled up to Yuri up against the wall, craddling a book between themselves. What kind of dummy couldn't read a book by themselves!? MC apparently. I couldn't even focus on my own manga, they were so excessively PDA. I don't know why I was even feeling this way. Why should I care? I mean it's not like Yuri even liked me or anything. It was just stupid. The way MC was practically glued to Yuri's side all throughout the club for the past two weeks now. It was sooo RIDICULOUS!!! I snapped out of my thoughts at the sound of Yuri's timid voice.
"Monika I h-have to go..." Yuri looked near tears, MC looked smug. What had happened? "B-bathr-room!" Yuri exclaimed and Monika frowned looking away from Sayori.
"I mean sure Yuri but-" Yuri was out the door before Monika could finish her statement. "We are going to be sharing poems soon..." She sighed dropping her head to the desk. Sayori patted her on the shoulder sympathetically.
"So Natsuki what're you reading?!" MC was suddenly sitting next to me. He was leaning close. Too close for comfort. I leaned back slamming my manga shut.
"It's called none-ya" I snapped and he frowned "as in fuck off you weirdo!" I stood from my spot in the back corner by the closet and stormed to the front of the room by Monika and Sayori.
"I donno Monika...maybe inviting him was- hi Natsuki!!" Sayori's sad tone instantly turned chipper and she smiled. Monika smiled too they were patronizing me.
"Whatever!" I grumbled so not in the mood for any of them when I turned and rammed into Yuri.
"I'm sorry!" She exclaimed backing up, clutching her arm?
"Watch it will you!" I spat and she went red, her hands twirled through her dark purple hair. Her beautiful eyes were glistening... Wait where did that come from... beautiful...Yuri was beautiful...but...I yelled at her. She was already upset from MC. I crossed my arms. Maybe I could find some way to apologize.
"Hey Yuri." He exclaimed a paper clutched in his hands. She flinched. Okay what had gone on between those two?!
"Poem time!" Monika exclaimed nervously as she clasped her hands together. Oh great. Let's make this day even worse.

.....................

" Daydream Firefly gone trapped sunset death march sunshine home..."

MC grinned at me as I scanned over his "poem" if you could even call it that. He always just mushed a bunch of words together and slapped them on a page.
"It's alright, not as good as mine though." I snapped shoving it back into his hands. He grinned handing me my poem.

"Yours was great too, I liked the simplicity of it but the deep meaning behind the words!" He exclaimed, I just nodded. Wishing someone else would please trade with him so he'd go away.
"MC! MC come trade with me!" Sayori exclaimed. I had already traded with everyone save...Yuri. I took a deep breath and started towards her. She wordlessly handed me her poem and took mine. Gah I read over her poem, then reread it...what was she trying to say?! What did it mean? I looked up and noticed Yuri's confused expression.
"It was...cute." she held it out to me. Cute?! Cute!!! I was fighting behind the red clouding my vision. I cracked my neck.
"Cute? Cute! Did you completely miss the symbolism?! It's about the feeling of giving up!!" I spat slamming her poem down on the desk. Yuri suddenly looked very passionate.
"I was trying to say something nice!" She snapped and I shook my head, blinded by anger.
"I'm sorry my poem was that bad you couldn't think of anything else to say about it!!" I snarled back and Yuri's jaw clenched.
"Well I have a few suggestions.." she started and I gripped the chairs next to me.
"If I was looking for suggestions I would have asked someone who actually liked it. Which people did by the way. Monika liked it, MC too!" It was a low blow and I knew it. Yuri stiffened and her hands balled themselves into fists.
"Well I wasn't saying I didn't like it!" She spat though even though her tone was harsh her comment was a compliment...I was now confused. Why did she always have this affect on me?
"Your face said enough!" I spat and she blinked in surprise.
"Maybe you shouldn't assume things about people before you decide you loathe them!" She spat and I frowned ..she thought I hated her? Why wouldn't she? I was a jerk.
"You know Yuri most people get over themselves by the time they graduate middle school!" I snapped and she crossed her arms tightly.
"Well when you graduate let me know." I was taken aback. It was a major burn.
"Ohh snap!" MC yelled and Monika elbowed him sharply. Sayori shuffled in our direction nervously.
   "Maybe if you weren't such a -"
"Hey let's not say anything we'll regret okay?" Sayori exclaimed uncomfortably and Yuri and I both glared.
"THIS DOESN'T CONCERN YOU!!!" We both screamed and she shrunk back to where Monika and MC were sitting, watching with wide eyes. Monika wrapped an arm around her shoulders.
"God you're so infuriating Natsuki!" Yuri growled throwing my poem at me. I didn't make a move to catch it as it fluttered to the floor.
"Oh I'm the infuriating one!?" I raged hands shaking.
"Yeah sometimes I wish you'd never joined the club in the first place!" She snarled and all the anger left my body. She didn't want me in the club. She hated me. I had messed everything up. Tears were involuntarily escaping my eyes. Yuri's expression changed but I was humiliated enough. I scooped up my bag and poem and ran for the door crumpling my poem into a ball and tossing it into the garbage as I ran from the clubroom. I guess I'd just have to be home early...which meant more time with my dad. Today just couldn't get any better.
