Feelings are hard part 1

Yui and Kaname were asked to visit Takuma ichijo home where He was going to announce his engagement to Yuki. Yui already knew about it but Kaname didn't however he had an idea what was going especially since all the royal vampires were to be gathered there. Yui wear a beautiful Red dress while Kaname wear all black except for his tie and the rose in his pocket to match Yui.

They both just got done with the party giving both Yuki and Takuma their blessing as king with Yui as the future Queen. The vampire council didn't like how Yui was with Kaname but they couldn't go against Kaname's word however they chosen another way to test Yui's worthiness to be queen. Kaname and Yui were walking the streets near but before they headed back to the Kuran manor. Yui already sold hers and Zeros old house but put all their stuff in storage considering Yui was living with Kaname.

Kaname pushed Yui to the wall and bites into her neck without warning but she just let him drink her blood. He lifted his head kissing her lifting her dress up a bit holding her close to him. They leaned closer as they kept kissing until suddenly Gavin the head of knights started to yell their names.

(Gavin) " King Kaname. and Lady Kiryu.."

(Kaname) " Yes.. what is it Gavin?"

(Gavin) " The council sent you a letter in regards to Your engagement to Yui Kiryu"

(Yui) " Is that so.. hand it here?"

Gavin heads over the letter which was sealed with a red stamp with the Vampire councils seal on it. Yui took out her dagger she almost always kept on her thigh and looked it over then handed it to Kaname so he could read it which made him have an angry look on his face. Gavin already excused himself to get back to the other knights to finish training. The letter read:

Dear King Kaname and Lady Kiryu,

It hasn't come to our attention that you plan to marry which is your choice but accordance to our rules because Yui Kiryu is a hunter she can't marry you unless she proves herself. Yui Kiryu is to be tested on whether or not she can stand by your side Kaname without your interference. Granted she was born a Kuran but because she's also a hunter and a doctor it's in everyone's best interests to see if she is worthy of being our queen.

Kaname knew the council was up to something and he done his best over the years working with them. Yui took Kaname face in her hands then kissed him which made him melt in her embrace.

(Yui) " It's okay Kaname I can do this and if they think this is going to keep us apart then they are wrong"

They kissed again but Kaname started worry because she was still half human . What if she got hurt again?
