NARA VS KATASHI (never give up)

BORUTO P.O.V

It was so tough to sleep after i knew someone was going after my father and destroying our village i was still thinking as my mom walked in " boruto-kun, is everything okay " she asked worried even if she didn't know what was wrong. I wanted to tell her everything that happened today but i knew she was gonna tell my dad which i didnt want.
" it's nothing mom, just worried about tomorrow, big day "
i said smiling sitting down on my bed,
" You shouldnt be, we are here for you, boruto if there's anything you want to talk about, you can tell me okay "
my mom said smiling at me. I wasnt worried about tomorrow, but i just had the feeling that i did.
"Okay mom " i replied as she kissed my head, " Goodnight boruto " she said leaving my room as i laid down on my bed looking up thinking as i closed my eyes to sleep.

" Briiiiiinnng ", it was the sound of my alarm. I yawned sitting down on my bed still feeling sleepy, " boruto-kun " my mom called to wake me up, "ah, coming mom " i said as i went to the bathroom taking my bath wearing my favourite clothe.

I ran downstairs and to have breakfast while i saw omaki and mitzuma having a conversation with my little sis himawari.
"Boruto, your friends are here " my mom said smiling, " yeah, dont get over excited mom " i said picking up my bag.
i walked to where they were, "what are you guys doing here" i said with a curios look, as i saw mitzuma pinched omaki " we are here to see how the hokage's house look like, it so cool " omaki said,.while mitzuma put his hands on his face in disgrace, " must you have to ruin things omaki " mitzuma said leaving, while i cuddle my little sis hair, " bye mom, bye hima " i said standing up running to catch up with them.

MITZUMA P.O.V

We reached the battle field, today was another day and the final day of it. We went to meet natsuki sensei while boruto left going to meet his like we did.
"Where have you been" sensei said with a worried look, like we got lost, " boruto, we went to meet him " i said smiling at sensei as he took a deep breathe, "okay guys, we dont know who might be up next, but i hope you are all prepared " sensei said trying to cheer us up, "YES " we all shouted except somebody " omaki hope you are prepared " sensei asked with a hope of reply, " me, um, i dont think am fighting after all no one knows.who is taking the field today right " Omaki said as everyone looked at him.
I could see the look of fear in his face, he was just as scared as me, but he was right what if we were not going to fight i thought.

Everywhere got silent as the normal board shined it normal light which showed the opponent that was to represent moon academy.
Everyone gasps or got shocked even me cause the name shown on the board was omaki, i turned back and saw how shocked and scared he was too.

I walked up to him, as he was frighten, i needed to give him one of my speech to cheer him up. I placed my hand on his shoulders " You can do this " i said with a calm voice,
" am not sure mitzuma, what if i let sensei down, his hopes are on me now "
omaki said still frighten,
" what if, you shouldn't what if you should do it, your dad wouldnt want to see you loose "
i said giving him a smile.

No matter how stupid omaki was, he was still my best friend, i always looked up to him, he brought me out of the dark so i needed to do the same. " Get up there and win " i said giving him a fist bump as he walked to the battle field, i looked at sensei as he gave me a nod, i smiled nodding back.

OMAKI P.O.V
I was still scared even after mitzuma's pep talk, i have never fought a real battle and i wanted to become a shinobi i thought as i waited for my opponent.

The board went off and came on immediately as i saw a name "SHIKADAI NARA " i yelled, i knew how smart he was cause he always was. He came out of the crowd and gave me a genius smile.

BEGIN i heard from a distance

I brought out my kunai, i didnt want to run towards him cause i knew i would end up being beaten. I stood still not moving an inch as he ran towards me with his kunai, i spinned mine and held it firmly as we both clashed our weapons, he gave me a kick to the stomach which made me fly back as he teleported to my back kicking me again, i had two kicks in less than a minute i thought as i fell on the floor.

I looked at mitzuma and whinked at him, i picked up my blade dashing towards him, i tried to cut through he kept on dodging them without stress as he twisted my arm which made me drop my blade then he kicked me again the third time.

SHIKADAI P.O.V

He was just weak, i noticed his movement and they were not good, i wanted to give up to him but i couldnt cause my mother was a harsh one.

He kept on running towards me, the more he came the more i punched him repeatedly and everywhere. I felt bad, and wanted him to stop but he wouldn't, he didnt give up.

He stood up and throw his kunai as i was about to dodge them he made a swap with his kunai, he appeared in front of me giving me an uppercut as i fell to the ground. His punch were stronger than mine, how did he get this strength i thought as i stood up and needed to end all of jokes or plays.

I made the hand sign "Kage-mane no jutsu" i said and trapped him in my jutsu as he couldnt move. He struggled to get loose, he was becoming stronger, i had to put a lot of chakara to hold him down, he screamed but still didnt want to give up, he was just like boruto and the hokage.

I kept on holding him down and i started feeling weak cause the more i infuse my chakara the more i became weak. I looked at his eyes as i saw it spark in lighting and he gave me a smile, " YUDAI ", he yelled and lighting sparked around his body, i looked at everyone faces as they were surprised and shocked, he was strong and about to breakout form my jutsu, how long was i going to hold him i thought.

I looked at his eyes as they changed , i gave a surprised look at his power, i started getting scared. " LET GO, YUDAI " he yelled again this time lighting spark around giving him alot of chakara, was this how strong he was i thought as he broke out of my jutsu walking towards me with his body on lighting, as his sensei rushed toward him pointing his index and middle finger, he strucked them on omaki's shoulders, ribs and chest as omaki fell down on his knees.

I looked up at my parent and saw their look on how they were disgraced but boruto gave me a thumbs up. I stood up and gave omaki a hand, standing him up as the hokage smiled at me. I knew i lost the battle fair and square but it didn't stop me from being friends with him.

Hey guys, i know you guys think i cheated but i didnt my character omaki is stronger than he looks that's why his rival was mitzuma.
