It was the next day. Bully and Playtime walked to school together. Bully promised to keep an eye on Playtime, in case Playtime told on him. When the two kids entered the school, the principal and Baldi were right in front of them. As soon as the two staff members heard the door, they turned their heads. The Principal of the Thing gasps when he saw Playtime's bruised face.

"Playtime! Your face!? Are you OK?" The principal hugged Playtime, and then looked at her face. Playtime looked at Bully, and Bully glared at her. Playtime turned back to the principal.

"I-I'm find, P-Principal Thing!" Playtime stuttered.

"How did this happen?" Playtime didn't respond. "Playtime? How did this happen?" Once again, no answer. Baldi was just hearing those words over and over again, until he looked at Bully.

"Bully, do you know anything about Playtime's injuries?" Baldi asked. The principal and Playtime looked over at Bully.

"Um, she won't tell me either!" Bully replied. That made Principal Thing even more shocked.

"Playtime, can you please tell us?" Principal Thing said. Playtime shook her head, and tears began to appear. "Could you maybe tell me then? We can talk in private." Playtime had no response, until she pushed the principal aside.

"No...Just...ugh..." Playtime mumbled, and ran off. Bully ran off, too. The principal was frozen in place. Baldi sat down next to him and patted his back.

"Boss, I'm sure shes OK, she probably just fell or something..."

"She's not OK..." The principal covers his from the tears streaming down his face. "She's not OK..."

"Let's go into your office to talk about it, OK, Principal Thing?" The principal nodded, and the two men both stood up. Principal Thing covered his face still, and put out his hand. The principal wanted Baldi to hold his hand, because he couldn't see what was in front of him. Baldi, without hesitation, took his hand, walked towards his office. When they got there, Baldi closed the door, locked it, and sat down in one of the chairs in the office. That's when, the principal started to bawl. Baldi grabbed some tissues from the principal's desk, and gave it to him. Principal Thing took one, and blew his nose.

"P-Playtime, is n-not OK..." The principal sniffled. "There is a huge problem, she w-would have never pushed m-me a-away like that! And, s-she would've never r-ran in the h-halls!" Principal Thing cried even more. That made Baldi start to tear up, but then, he wiped them away.

"Look, how about we send an email to Playtime's parents about her face, so we can see what happened."

"That's a g-great idea, Baldi." Baldi blushed and nodded.

Once they sent the email, they waited. And waited. And waited. The principal knew something was up, Playtime's parents should've answered by now.

"We should give them a call, maybe their computer broke." The principal said. Baldi nodded and handed Principal Thing the phone. He dialed the number and waited. No answer. He tried again. No answer. "Something is not OK, Baldi! We need to find out!"

"Woah there, hold it. Playtime's parents might be working really hard right now. Just give them sometime, Boss." Principal Thing nodded and then he hugged Baldi.

"Thank you Baldi, you really helped me this morning." Baldi face turned really red.

"Heh, y-yeah! No p-problem." Baldi stuttered. They broke the hug, then looked at the time. "Class is going to be starting in a few minutes, I better get going."

"OH! Yeah, well, I will see you soon!"

"Yup, bye boss!"

"Bye, Baldi." Baldi walked out of the office, then closed the door. He made a long, heavy sigh. Baldi had no response to what just happened in there. He has mixed emotions right now, he feels sad, yet happy. Baldi walked over to his class, with a cheerful look of his face.
