A/NThis short story is gonna be about three parts, and they each will have a different name, but it's one whole story, just so y'all know.
I've seen this one before, the girl she gets away
Everybody knows it but no one tries to stop it
Cause she barely even knows him but if she could see inside
Everything is quiet as she waits to tell him who she is

The rain pattered loudly against the rooftop of my house and the sky had finally gotten dark. Perfect timing and weather for a horror movie marathon. I love watching movies at home as much as I like seeing them in the movie theater. I live on my own so whenever I'm home from work, I like just vegging out with my cat, Juliet.
People always ask me if I don't get lonely, since I don't really go out much except to the mall on weekends, but honestly my life experiences have made me enjoy solitude more than company. Don't get me wrong, when I'm around people Im a chatterbox and I like to make people laugh and cheer them up, but also I get mentally drained and need to be on my own to recharge.
I go to the kitchen with Juliet following my every step (She's literally my shadow, I can't go anywhere in the house without her on my trail. She's super clingy) and I start fixing some snacks. I take out a pot, wash it and put a capful of oil in it. I spread it around by swerving the pot in circles. I take out a popcorn bag and open it, exposing the unpopped kernels and butter, and scrape it onto the pot.
You may be wondering why I don't just use a microwave, but mine broke recently, and I haven't gotten around to buying a new one. Besides I don't really need it, I can manage perfectly fine without it. I spread out the kernels so that they cover the bottom of the pan, and cover it with a lid. I turn on the stove to a medium flame and put the pot on.
While the popcorn Is heating up, I take out a bowl and retrieve my bag of twizzlers from the fridge along with some sprite soda. I also take out some of Juliet's treats and set everything on a tray. Juliet perks up at the sound of the bag of treats and she meows and jumps up on the counter.
"Hold on baby, you have to wait a bit longer." I chuckle and set her down on the floor again. She just starts purring against my legs as I walk back to the stove. The popcorn is jumping up and I stare at it, something I like to do for some reason, It's just fun watching it. After the popping slows down to a stop I carefully lift the lift with a cloth and put it in the sink. I pour the popcorn into my bowl and set the pot in the sink as well, I'll wash it later. (I keep my house clean, but I'm not a clean freak like my mom was when I lived with her)
Once everything is set, I carry the tray slowly to the living room and set it over my lap as I settle into the couch. I give Juliet her treats. I look over to the TV and sigh. Not again. I forgot to get the remote from the table. Ugh. I pick up the tray once more, set it on the table, grab the remote and put it on the tray and get back to the couch. Ahh. Much better.
