Y/N's POV

I fall face first into my bed after a long day of sitting through meeting after meeting. Don't get me wrong they are important, and they help us get to live out our dram, but damn are they the longest most tedious meeting ever sometimes. Y/F/N walks in right behind me, taking in my exhausted form, "I agree!" I can hear her throwing off her shoes and then sinking down into the her bed, letting out the same frustrated sigh as I had moments ago.

"Ugh can it be the 2nd already?" She just chuckles in response. "I'm serious, man. I need to have some fun. I love my job, but not all these long days full of meetings."

"Yeah, and it's only having the weekend off that you're looking forward to?" She teases, "It has nothing to do with a certain man flying in for a music festival that weekend."

I grab ahold of a pillow and fling it across the room at her laughing self, "Shut up!" Just then my phone rings, "Speak of the devil..." All Y/F/N does is sit there staring at me, making kissy faces as I answer the phone. "Hey Jensen" I must have a goofy grin going on becuase before I know it, she's climbing over the bed, getting all up in my bubble, trying to hear the conversation. I do my best to shoo her, but lord knows she can be stubborn. "Definitely, sounds like a plan. See you then."

"So... what? Come on spill!"

"Oh, like you couldn't hear the whole conversation."

"I didn't, only the first part becuase you had to be mean and move so i couldn't get my ear by the phone."

"Okay so wanting a little privacy is mean now? We both laugh, knowing good and well this wasn't really a squabble, she was just being silly. She gives those gosh darn puppy eyes, and I cave. Well, I'm blaming it on that, but the truth is I can barely contain myself anyway. "So he is flying in that morning, and I told him I would pick him up since we'll still have the car by then."

She looks at me confused, "What? That's it? That's what all the giggles and squeals were about when you hung up?"

"Well that, and we may or may not be going to get breakfast before we head out to the festival grounds."

God these have been the longest two weeks of my life. This has been all I've wanted, and yet here I am trying to force myself out of this car. I mean what's the big deal, I've already met him, right? Wait, this is an actual date, that's what's the big deal. The watch on my wrist is screaming at me. He should be landing any minute, and I'm still in this damn parking garage, talking to myself like a crazy person.

My knees shake slightly as I enter the elevator, and hit the button. Just breathe, you can do this Y/N. Ding. The elevator doors open, and my eyes scan the room, looking for the gate. They land on the sign just about the door, indicating that passengers had already arrived. I look around at the faces of the people around the area that had clearly been meeting people on the same flight, and I don't see him. Great, just great. Your first date, and you loose the man. Good job Y/N. "Fuck!" I say a little louder than I intended to.

My exclamation is immediately met with a deep voice in response, "Oh she's got a mouth on her!"

I turn, and am met with shining green eyes as he tries to hold in his laughter. "Sorry I'm a little late."

"It's okay." He says offering a smile, and...... holy crap what? What is he doing? He stretches out his arm, pulling me into a hug. "It's good to see you."
