I finally found an outfit I thought looked good, I got dressed and went downstairs,

Cami was sitting on the couch reading a book, she looked at me "where are you going?" she asked putting her book down, "I'm going to the arcade with Will and his friends" I said pulling a small portion of my hair behind my ear and then grabbing my bookbag, I zipped it and threw it over my shoulder, "ok take your phone" she said and then picking up her book again, "its in my bag" I said and left the house. I locked the door from the outside and put the keys in my bookbag and turned around, I jumped back at the sight of a person in front of me "sorry" will said "its ok" I muttered "I thought id come and pick you up since you don't know where the arcade is" "thanks" I said walking down the steps and going up to him and smiled, we started walking and I held his hand, he slightly blushed and smiled, I smiled back and we reached the arcade, everyone was already inside, we walked inside together still holding hands, he spotted his friends and we walked up to them, he exhaled "hey guys" he said grabbing everyone's attention "hey" the redhead said with an annoyed tone "uh Annie, this is Max, Mike El, Dustin, Lucas, Nick and Alyssa, Alyssa is my older sister" he said pointing at everyone "its nice to meet you all" I said and forced a smile upon my face they waved "will this was supposed to b-" mike started but alyssa cut him off "Will don't you think you should've told me that you got a girlfriend?" "what?" Will replied with a confused tone and face, Alyssa then pointed at me and will holding hands, we let go and moved away from each other "we're just friends" we said in unison and looked down "did you guys practice that?" Nick said playfully "no," me and Will said in unison again "ok that's just weird," we said in unison once again, "cute outfit," Alyssa said and nodded her head towards me "uh thanks," I said looking up at her and then at the ground "I have to get home" Mike said looking at his watch and left "uh yeah me too" Nick added I looked up "so...?" I said trying to break the silence, max rolled her eyes "whats your deal?" I asked her "nothing" she replied with a mean tone "maybe we should leave" Will added while me and Max exchanged death glares "you should," Max said and fake smiled, I fake smiled too, "let's go," I said and intertwined mine and Wills fingers and we left the arcade, "I don't want to go home" I told him and looked at him "me either" he replied "lets go somewhere else" I said "like?" he asked "I don't know you've lived here longer than me" I replied "uh" he started thinking "I've got an idea" he said and started walking I followed him and we got to an empty lot "where are we?" I asked smiling "my place" he replied smiling as well, I stood in front of him and my smile faded "so do you and Max have like a thing?" I asked kinda hesitantly and holding his hand "no, what makes you think that?" he asked me "she just doesn't seem to like me and I'm always with you when she acts like that" I said looking directly at him "oh, I don't know why she's acting like that" he replied "oh" I said and he looked at me, he smiled and I smiled back
