Chapter 5

Caroline's POV

"Wait, hold on, you're telling me, that Ty was compelled to bite Elena?"

I don't understand who would do that? The only people who can compel a vampire or hybrid are the originals and they're supposedly on our side.

"It wasn't me, love, if that's what you were thinking," he replies my unasked question while raising his hands in the air, "and I doubt it was Rebekah or Elijah, maybe Kol but unlikely."

But who can compel besides them?

"Well first things first, we need your blood Klaus," Stefan replies while handing Klaus a small glass bottle.

"Of course," Klaus replies with a hint of sarcasm, then proceeds to bite into his wrist and puts it over the glass bottle.

"Thank you," Stefan replies as he vamp speeds out. What would we have done had Klaus not been here? He's changed. Stop Caroline, you're with Tyler.

"So, love, what's our next move?" Klaus asks me while sipping on his bourbon.

"We interrogate your siblings and prove that it was in fact someone else and then we stress." Ugh. Why is there always something bad happening in Mystic Falls? I just want to go home and be with Tyler even being with Klaus would be better than this. Stop Caroline, Tyler.

"Did you hear what I said, love?" Klaus asks while studying my face.

"No, sorry I was lost in thought, what was it you were saying?" I reply.

"Do you think this has anything to do with that threatening letter?" He repeats the question that I had failed to process the first time.

"Yes, I think it has everything to do with that, I want to look at the initials once more." Wait, wasn't there five letters? That must mean five people or four people with the same last name. Hold on the last letter is 'M'. No, it can't be...

"Klaus, are you or your siblings the ones behind these threats and actions?" I ask him while wondering how I didn't pick it up earlier.

"I thought we were passed this, love."

"So did I! But the initials at the bottom from what I remember were remarkably like those of yours and your siblings'!"

I know it's really short, I'm really sorry but I haven't updated in agessss and I'm really sorry! I know where I'm going but idk how to write it or what not but I'll try and update more often and there may be a few short ones like this along the way but there will also be really long ones so bare with me :)
