Uneasy

Chapter 7

Monday May 9th
7:27am

Maya's POV

I wake up to the sound of questioning voices, and whispering. They are fimilar and quiet loud.

To tired to open my eyes I lean more into Sti-. Wait Stiles I open my eyes quick and look at the sleeping boys next to me. Im so close to Stiles his breath lightly fans my face. Im brought out of my thoughts as Natalie come running in hugging me.

"Goodmor-, whos that" she stops mid sentence to notice Stiles hand conjoined with mine. I quickly let go winning a whineful grunt from Stiles that makes me laugh inside. As I get more awake I see Sweet Pea and at the door crossing his arms against his chest. He looks disappointed as he shakes his head.

"Come on LilyPad Ill walk you to school since Maya's a little busy." Sweet Pea says in a husky yet child Like voice. They begin walking out when I swiftly get up and follow.

"Um Sweet Pea what the hell was that about huh." I raise my voice in frustration.

"Nothing Forget about it Maya, I have to go before LilyPad is late." He mumbles.

"Sweet Pea ! " I raise my voice even louder. He stops in his tracks and turns and walks to me fast.

"You- You have just met him maya, not even a full 24 damn hours and your already touchy with him. Like what the hell huh is that why you sent Natalie to Jugheads to get- get touchy!"

My jaw tenses and it locks as I begin to feel a mixture of annoyed and hurt. With my loss of words he scoffs and turns to walk away.

"You know what? I don't need this and I dont need you. All you do is treat me like a little girl that can't even tie her shoes but you know what Im done. You dont get to do that judge me on my actions. Lets not forget about you."

"And what have I done Maya! Protect you and be there for you!" He yells at me back nearly cutting me off.

"Well lucky for you, you dont have to do that anymore. Leave me the hell alone for now on my buisness is my business and I want you to stay out of it. And speaking of touchy lets not forget about why Toni turned Bi."

His face showed a mixture of Anger, Disbelief, and hurt. But i could care less at the moment.

Toni and Sweet Pea used to be a thing. They were 3 years strong until reasons neither of them talk or share about broke them apart. After they broke up she turned Bi-Sexual and we can all say Sweet Pea was the guy that turns girls to the other gender.

He turns back making fists out of his hands. He stops walking but doesnt turn around.

"When he hurts you, dont come crying to me about it or anything" he says. The he continues walking while taking Natalie with him.

I was so confused and hurt. I walked back into my trailer at the sight of Scott and Stiles still asleep on my couch I smiled, but that smile quickly faded away. Its now 7:39am and school starts at 8:20am. I walk to my bed and sit down not caring if I made noise. I just sat there and sobbed quietly with my head in my hands. I then feel my thin bed dip a little and a warm body pulling me into a hug. I continue to cry accepting the hug and enjoying the comfort.

"What happened Maya" Stiles asks while holding me tight.

I didnt want to answer, I couldn't my words were gone. And so was Sweet Pea.
