The next morning Olivia wakes up alone in her massive bed an stretches before rubbing her eyes and yawning. She quietly gets out of bed, not wanting to wake up any of the people still sleeping, which was almost everyone.

She heads out to the kitchen outside and puts some bread in the toaster to make some toast before turning on the kettle to make some tea. Just as the toaster pings and the toast pops out Olivia hears a voice behind her.

"Morning." says the voice which causes Olivia to jump and turn around to a laughing Alex.

"Shit you scared me." she says with a smile. "I didn't hear you come over."

"Sorry about that." he grins.

"Do you want some tea? I've already put the kettle on."

"Yes please. Thanks." he replies before leaning against the counter next to her.

As she prepares their tea she turns to look at him. "I didn't really get to chat to you yesterday so prepare for the cheese. Tell me about yourself." she says with a chuckle.

He grins. "Ok well let's see, I'm Alex, I'm 27 and I'm an A&E doctor in London but I'm from Wales originally."

"Aw cool! I wanted to be a doctor when I was a kid but I never really excelled in the sciences so that kinda went to the side."

"What do you do again?"

"I'm a government social research officer. Basically we provide the research necessary for the analysis to develop, implement, review new or existing government policies. I really enjoy it but I may try to do something else later on who knows."

"That sounds really interesting actually!" He says with a smile. "Wouldn't have expected someone like you to come onto love island then."

Olivia laughs and hands him his tea. "Yeah well you're a doctor so we're both kinda out of place surrounded by all these models and stuff huh?"

"Guess so." he grins before taking a sip of tea. "You make some amazing tea."

"Why thank you." she replies before flicking her hair over her shoulder playfully. "Do you enjoy your job? It must be intense."

"It is definitely intense but it's so rewarding. You really see the best of people in my job. Strangers rushing people to A&E, families coming together. It obviously difficult to see the loss some people have to go through but it's all apart of the job and I wouldn't change it."

"That's so nice. Maybe one day I'll break my arm and come to visit you in A&E."

Both of them laugh and smile at each other as someone else walks into the kitchen.

"Morning guys!" says Jack happily as he comes in with Dani.

"Morning!" the two say in unison.

"Wanna go get dressed with me?" Dani asks Olivia.

"Yeah let's go! I'm ready to get a tan. See you later guys!"

The two girls go back into the villa and Jack turns to Alex.

"She's into you mate!"

"No she isn't we were just chatting since we didn't get a chance yesterday."

"Okay but she's attracted to you man! It's was so obvious. She was smiling so much and looked super relaxed around you."

"You really thinks so?"
