Olivia steps out of the jeep just as the sun sets, with metallic tattoos all around her arms, the muffled sound of music already streaming out of the villa. She walks up to the door and grins as she sees a guy standing and waiting there, also covered in gold metallic tattoos.
"Hey I'm Sam!" he says with a smile
"Hi, I'm Olivia." she replies as they hug quickly. "So happily I don't have to crash their party alone."
"I got you don't worry." He chuckles before turning to the camera men who were meant to follow them.
"Whenever you're ready guys." says one of them.
Sam and Olivia nod to each other and enter the villa confidently, both hiding their nerves. As they exit to the garden everyone is dancing and pay no mind to the new arrivals.
"What going on guys?" shouts Sam to get everyones attention. Sure enough, all the islanders stop dancing and turn to the new pair.
"Hey guys." adds Olivia with a wide grin and a wave.
They approach the group and everyone starts to greet them.
"Hello! I'm Dani." says the first person to walk over to Olivia as they hug.
"Olivia."
"Hey I'm Ellie." says a blonde who comes up next.
"Olivia, pleasure!"
"I'm Jack." says a brunette guy.
"Nice to meet you!" smiles Olivia
"And I'm Alex." says a slightly taller guy.
Olivia grins widely at him as they lock eyes before he goes down to kiss her cheek in greeting. "Hiya, I'm Olivia. But you can call me Liv too." she laughs
"Nice to meet you." he replies.
"Would you like a drink?" asks Dani with a smile as she links arms with Olivia.
"Is that even a question?" she replies with a chuckle.
"Love the attitude." replies Dani as she pours her a drink and join the others by the fire.
Olivia and Sam are in the center with the other islanders looking at them.
"Tell us about yourselves. Where you from, what do you do, what's you game..." asks Wes
Olivia and Sam look at each other and Sam motions for her to go first.
"Ok well I'm Olivia, I'm 25, originally from Bournemouth but I now live in London. I'm a government social research officer and I'm here to genuinely find someone that i could potentially spend the rest of my life with. Obviously I don't want to get married right after this or anything but I'd really like to find someone to really love as cheesy as it sounds."
"Aw that's proper cute!" says Georgia with a smile. "What are you looking for in a guy then?"
"Um, looks wise I don't really have a type. I think it's important to be attracted to someone but I'm more about personality really. I really want someone who can make me laugh but that i can also have like... deep intellectual conversations with."
"What about you Sam?" asks Wes.
"Well I'm coming here to obviously find love and uh, maybe teach Adam how to treat a lady."
"You did not just–" Olivia whisper to him before everyone jumps up and 'oohs'.
Adam just shrugs with a smirk but it's clear to see he's bothered.
After that everyone disperses but Olivia sticks to the fire pit and sips her wine as she watched her fellow islanders. Dani comes to sit next to her with a smile.
"Hello there."
"Hey." replies Olivia.
"First things first, can I call you Liv?"
"Yeah of course."
"Great now, who have you got your eye on?"
"Well for now I don't really know. Like obviously all the guys are good looking but I'm not exactly sure how everyone is feeling in their couples and I really don't want to step on people's toes. Girl code is super important to me." she says with a chuckle "and I haven't really had the chance to chat to any of the guys yet besides Sam."
"Ok well, who are you first attracted to?"
"I mean, probably Sam, Alex and Eyal I guess?"
"Ohh okay I see. Well Eyal is coupled up with Megan and I think they both like each other quite a bit. Alex is with Ellie and so far things have been going pretty well the past few days. I get the sense he likes her more than she likes him but I'm just happy he's had a chance finally. He's such a great guy."
"Yeah he does seem like it." she says with a soft smile as she glances at Alex chatting with the boys. "I just don't know what I'll do if I have to ask some guys on a date. Everyone seems to be pretty happy and I'd hat to cause any drama because I pick someone's man."
"Don't worry about it babe, honestly. You have to get to know the guys in here somehow and besides it's just a date."
"Yeah true. Thanks Dani, I'm glad I've found a friend so fast in here." she says with a chuckle.
"Aww Liv, you're so cute." she replies with a grin as she hugs her new friend.
"Also you and Jack are so cute. I'm just hoping I'll get to have something like what you two have."
"You definitely will babe. You're gorgeous and so sweet, and seeing what job you have you must be super smart too. You're a catch."
"Aw thank you. Let's go dance yeah?"
"Let's!"
