Gabriel's POV
My daughter is the sweetest gift that I could have ever been given as I hold her in my arms with her tiny body fit inside that princess gown I'd picked out five years ago. She's tiny and flawless and still a little pink from being cocooned against her mother and sleeping for the past ten hours of her life.
Yes, it took us five years to finally get a baby girl, and it's been a long time coming. But the second I found out it was a girl we were expecting this time around, I'd eagerly looted the outfit out of the attic in anticipation of her arrival.
Have no doubt that I love each of my son's with equal fervour, they're all awesome little hero's in my eyes; all four of them. Of course there's Coby, our first born. And then there's Arbor; our green eyed little hellion who came second, and sure has a mean set of lungs on him. The following year we welcomed the twins; Brigham and Barnett, who I honest to God cannot tell apart a lot of the time. It's not just their faces that are identical, it's their mannerisms and attitudes too. They copy one another like it's a game of monkey see monkey do.
Of course Darryl rubs it in my face that she can tell them apart. But she's got her weird mother to baby telepathy thing going on, so it's really no competition.
But now, as I lower Kendra for each of her brothers to take a peek at her tiny face, they each stand speechless, staring at her in awe whilst crowding around me and the baby in a semi-circle. "Say hello to your sister boys" I remark, reaching a hand out and stroking Arbor's soft head of dark curls whilst he nestles into my side "Kendra Emilia Mona Lancaster."
They all sigh and Brigham reaches out with chubby toddler fingers to stroke his sisters little chin. The twins have only just managed to reach the stage of walking without falling over, so we're still working on their co-ordination skills. I catch Brigham's finger before he can accidentally scratch her, and I give it a kiss. "Easy, Brig, she's delicate. And I want you boys to watch over your sister just like you watch out for each other, okay?"
Arbor and the twins nod as Coby stretches his hands out towards her with all of his six year old confidence. "Yes daddy, can I hold her now?"
I pat the sofa next to me and they all scramble to sit up on either side of me. Coby sits right at my side and holds his hands out expectantly for the baby girl. Years of practicing holding his brothers mean that he's practically a pro at this whole baby thing.
He accepts the weight of his little sister into his arms and smiles down at her, following my instructions to hold her head correctly whilst she scrunches up her nose and yawns. "She's so pink!" He whispers, cautious of her sleeping ears as he trickles a finger down the bridge of her nose and across her little pouty lips.
"You were yellow when you were born B-Z." Dressed in one of my shirts and pair of leggings, my freshly showered wife enters the room with a tired smile and damp hair, one hand lying on her not so distended baby bump as she smiles at me softly. Her eyes are tired and she looks fatigued, but she won't for the life of her fall asleep until all of her babies are settled.
My cock hardens as she licks her lips and blows me a kiss. Even after giving birth not twelve hours ago, how can she look so damn gorgeous in my eyes?
The twins instantly run to her, and despite my warnings for them to take it easy on mummy, they still launch themselves at her and she bends down to scoop each of them into her arms with a groan. "Hello my little handsome's, how do you like your sister?"
Barnett scrunches up his nose and giggles slightly. "Smelly."
The other boys seem to agree too as they all burst into similar laughter, and I chuckle as I give the air a quick sniff and discover that Kendra has left us a little surprise. I gently take her from Coby and drag her over to the changing table. "Okay, everybody hold your noses, this is going to get messy."
