TERRENCE ROSS
One month ago.

Custom. A habitual or a common practice of an individual or group of individuals. It could be a family dinner every sunday. A religious obligation every month. A vacation every year.

For these guys, it's boy time every Friday. A time for them to bond and take the edge off after a hectic week of work and other duties. Either over girls and booze or a sports game. This week, the mood was girls and booze. They all gathered at Terrence's club, Highlight, one of the hottest clubs in town.

'They' being Terrence, Trey, Davis, Hector and Miller. The most unlikely group of friends with Hector being a quiet Latino man, Miller being a lousy, lively American and the rest being African Americans.

These guys have known each other for almost all their lives and have had this custom for half of that. But, recently, their friend Miller had been slacking off ever since he had started dating a girl named Monica. The guys were happy for him, of course. But they were even happier that he had made it today after 2 weeks of flimsy, obvious excuses to not attend.

They all sat comfortably in the private VIP lounge of Highlight, surrounded by girls with too big to be real titties trying to get their attention. A month ago, this would have been fun but tonight the mood was somber and their lounge void of discussion, only the vibrations of the loud music from downstairs could be heard. Terrence and Davis each had beautiful ladies on their laps but even they looked absent minded.

Everyone's mind seemed occupied. Especially that of Trey, Terrence's younger brother. He sat rigidly on his seat, away from the ladies, slowly sipping on his glass of whiskey keeping his attention on his phone all the while.

Terrence immediately picked up on this and asked him, "Trey, what's good? You gat something on your mind, Bro?"

At this, all the guys eyes were directed on him.

Trey, who looked taken aback by the sudden attention, chuckled somewhat nervously before replying, "Nah. What could I possibly be thinking of?"

The others all laughed. They all knew of Trey's recently rekindled romance with Tasha, a girl whom they had all known since their high school days. Trey had always had a thing for her that was way beyond a school boy crush but had never actually done anything about it.

"Oh, I don't know," Hector said, feigning ignorance. "Maybe a certain fiesty, beautiful lady named..." He paused. "Tasha?"

The others laughed once more. Trey laughed too realising that they already knew. Nothing can get passed these guys, he thought to himself.

They have been through a lot together, including failed relationships and crazy women. No one wanted to see the other hurt by a woman any more than they have already been in the past. Hence, this was a bit of a rare topic for them as months ago, women weren't even a part of their lives. Except the regular fucks, of course. Except for Miller and Hector. They were the only two in the group in serious relationships, Miller's a bit more recent.

Trey sighed and said, "She's different man. She actually cares for me and I just feel like she gets me." He rubbed a hand over his waves.

They all saw the small, light smile that grazed his lips. Something he probably didn't even know he was doing from just talking about her.

Terrence smiled at that and thought to himself that Trey was definitely crazy about Tasha. And she did seem different compared to the previous girls. He had seen them together. They looked good. Like a real couple although they weren't official yet. And Terrence knew his brother. He needed a push unless he would stall getting seriously involved with her simply because of commitment issues which stemmed from their childhood.

Terrence was about to give him just that. Sitting up on his chair, he gave the busty blonde a little nudge, she immediately got the memo and scurried off him. Leaning into Trey's direction, he said, "How about a dare, brother?"

This immediately piqued Trey's intrest. They all knew that the one thing Trey Ross can never turn down is a dare. He had gotten himself into trouble one too many times for them. But he was slightly suspicious of this one especially cause it was coming from his brother, "Okay?"

Terrence leaned back into his sit, knowing that he now had his brother's full attention. "You stay with Tasha for a month, for real, and you can dare me to do anything of your choice afterwards".

After a few moments of considering it, Trey's dark brown eyes immediately lit up with mischief as am idea came to his head. "Deal."
