Our story is told by Captain Alexandra, a feisty young woman with a fire in her heart reflected by her fiery red hair. She's about 5’4”, 20 years old, and cute as a button. Her clothes are always covered in some form of extraneous material, yet her skin is always glowing. She’s not much of a ‘captain’ right now for she does not have a crew, she does however have a ship. Her ship is one of her own design, the TSTR Time Space Transient Reposition-or. A spaceship that can travel not only through space and time but outside of space and time. Enough monologue though, back to the story.
Alex spends today just like any other day on e4r-7, a literal garbage heap of a planet, she explores the junk looking for any useful parts to fix her ship. She arrived here after her first unsuccessful test of her new ship, she was able to slip outside the time stream for a second, though as soon as she made the jump her ship lost power and she lost control of it.
She crash landed on this planet, a planet used for intergalactic trash storage. She knew where she was, it was a small planet in the old Milky Way, the third one from the sun. It was once the birthplace for all humanity but overpopulation and several nuclear wars quickly made the planet mostly uninhabitable, they all left to go to other parts of the vast expanses of space. The only people here are the outcasts and the homeless, and Alex.
Thankfully her ship remained intact, she built the thing to be practically indestructible. All systems were still functional, including the ships AI BRD. Alex could always count on BRD to watch the ship while she looked for parts. The flight engines still work so she could leave at any time, but there aren’t many places she really wanted to go, and she has all the parts she needs with new supply arriving daily, but what she really needs is a power source. The jump engines use a lot of power, something her still experimental pico-fusion reactors just couldn’t handle.
