“All right then here we go” As Alex brings up the power levels the interior of the ship begins to glow with a bright blue that helps Alexandra’s fiery red hair stand out even more than usual. She feels giddy as the she hears the familiar *Ka Clunk* *Whoosh* as the locks release and the gyros roar to life. She hears the low hum of the flight engines letting her know that the ship is ready for take-off.
“Hold on to something” Alex winks at her new passenger as she presses the big green button that just appeared on her display. In only a second the ship goes from dead stop to the upper atmosphere. Alex gently brings the Toast to cruising levels, and she notices that the raw power of her ship has impressed Vokaan, she likes this feeling, as no one has ever been on her ship before.
“Hey Bread, could you do some flying for a bit, I’m going to give our guest the grand tour”
“All right, but I can’t guarantee that I won’t crash land onto the next deserted planet.” Bread says in a half joking half serious tone.
“She’s joking right?” Alex can clearly sense Vokaan’s concern.
“Yeah she’s just kidding around, I programmed her with the same strange sense of humor I have.” Captain Alexandra proceeds to take her new found passenger through all the inner workings of the ship. “This here is the Pico-Fusion Reactor, it runs using the same technology that protects me, and I’ll explain that later though.” They move on quickly. “It's not that large of a ship, large enough for 20 crew members, about 100 passengers, and some cargo. Since most of the interior is composed of PicoBots, it can be quickly re-configured at will.” Alex continues on, smiling at the fact that she can now show off her engineering marvel, “These are the flight engines, they take excess radiated energy from the superconducting gyros and redirects it allowing the ship to hover and maneuver so easily, and here are the gyros, the heart of the ship, these allow this ship to travel through and outside of time” Alex finishes up her guided tour
