Chapter 8

We made it really far.

Omar stopped trying to gasp for air "I think we lost them"

I groaned "yeah"

"My cousins house Osama is near herre" Omar said

We made it there and told him what happen when suddenly my phone rang...

it's Abd.

"Hey where are you guys? Are you okay?" he said

"yeah we're fine..we are at Osamas house now"

"Okay we're coming" Abd said and i hung up

"Do you want anything to drink" Osama offered

"water please" i said

"Me too" Omar said looking at Osama.

Osama went to the kitchen to bring us water "that was close ha?" Omar said cleaning his throat

"Yeah!" i raised my brows

We heard a knock on the door i got off the couch and opened it.

"dude i think you broke his nose!" Yasser said looking exited.

I laughed.

Abd was behind him they got in and i shut the door.

Osama came with two cups of water. He handed me one and offered the other to Omar.

"Guys mom is making lunch stay here so stay and eat with us" Osama offered and we all agreed.

After lunch i checked the time it was 5:35 i thanked Osama for the lunch and i got out of his house. i made my way to my house then my phone rang.

it's mom.

"hey mom" i said

"hey Adam where are you?" she asked

"i'm on my way home why?" i said

"nothing i just got worried" she said

a smile made its way on my lips.

"see you soon" i hung up and continued walking. Osamas house is so far from ours and it took a long time till i made it to my house and got in.

"mom i'm home" i said

I went to check on her in her room i looked through the door and she was sleeping.

I made my way to my room and put on some confortable clothes.

Then went to the living room and turned on the TV.

" 'Two guys from the west bank kidnapped three Israeli soldiers last night' "

"lies" i said and turned it off.

Isreal spreads rumors and blame Palestines for it, so they let the world know that they're not terrorists and they put it on us instead.

I checked the time 6:40.

It's Friday and i always don't know what to do in this day.

I grabbed my quran and started reading until i reached this part "وبشر الصابرين"

Uhhh whenever i read this part i feel peaceful.

I fished reading, and it was 8:30

My phone rang and i picked up.

"hey Adam we are at Omars house come over" it was Yasser.

"Yeah okay i'm coming" i hung up and took my keys and hedded out of the house.

I've always imagine how would Palestine be if it weren't invaded.

What would i be doing now

how my dad would be here around us

I would tell him about all the difficulties i've been through.

Uhhh dad when is it going to be our first time to meet i want to see you

i'm just going to be patient and wait....we'll wait...

Oh god,i sometimes wish i can be dead now so i can't see my moms pained eyes when she talks about dad.

"No!!! no leave him no!!" i heard someone screaming

"Please!!"

"daaaad! do not please them dad! never do you hear me!!"

I was frozen when i saw alot of Israeli soldier pulling Omar to their car.

"Omar!!" i start running on their direction.

I tried to fight but i couldn't they are holding guns and aiming it on our direction. Abd and Yasser grabbed my forearm and pulled me back.

"No!!!" his dad streamed

Abd was trying so hard to calm him but he got even worse.

They put Omar in the car and the last words i heard from him was "the day will come when all of you are going to regret this..all of you!"

and then they took him and left.

there was complete silence.

We were all shocked.

I couldn't control myself i want to scream.

They just took my friend and we couldn't do anything.

I can't stay here.

i started walking...

"where are you going?!" Abd said

"To hell" i said

I start walking so fast making my way to the place i always go when i'm mad.

I made it there

Then couldn't control myself so I start screaming really loud.

That's better...

this place calms me down and it's so beautiful i latterly can see whole Palestine from here.

I heard my phone ring.

"yeah" i said through the phone

"did you do something stupid yet?" Abd said

"no"

"good where are you?" he said

"Abd they just took our friend and we could't do anything!!"

"What can we do!! Adam we tried so much to help your father everybody tried we can't do anything Adam! nothing!!"

I didn't know what to say..his words made me speechless.

and then i hung up.The cold air hit me,put my jacket cap on and shivered.

I'm just really angry they took my dad who i've never met and now my friend

Israeli soldiers are like human without hearts.
