STRONGER (ON HOLD)

Chapter 17

We waited one hour and half for Abd in his house to show up.One of the guys who saw him when the soldier took Abd they said he was calm and they were too,they took him to the car without even touching him,so that's new.

I feel something wrong about it though.

"This is stupid.Where the hell did they took him?" Yasser said and i shrug "i dunno" i said grabbing my bottom lip with my thumb and my four finger.

"How is your shoulder?" i asked

"Yeah it's getting better"

After a while there where knoks heard from the front door.

I got off the couch quickly and made my way to the front door when i opend it,Abd was there.

"Guys" Abd pulled his hands up.

"what happened?" i asked.

"get in" he pulled us in.

"We were worried dude" i said.

Abd took a seat and we sat facing him.

"couple days i was talking to Yasser about working in a job and that i don't care what is it,i just want to get money,so i guess one the soldiers heard me"

"Yeah?" i frowned.

"They took me to a place i've not seen before.Then an Israeli guy came to me and took me to a big room, it was full of everything.I didn't know what they want at first"

"wait i want water" He said running to the kitchen.Then came back couple seconds drinking water from the cup.

"Anyways he told me that he know every single thing about my life.he also mentioned you guys they know everything about us and i mean.every.thing" he stopped for a second.

"Then finally he asked me if i want to work with them.i couldn't control my self i wanted to kill him for a second.but i tried to calm my self.i told him i don't want to work with you and i will never.he told me i'll give you some time to think and then he got out of the room.i told him come back i don't need to think" he was angry talking "Then two horrible girls got in smirking at me.i don't want to mention what were they wearing"

"Sh*t" Yasser said laughing

"Yeah they bout those girls to make you say yes" i laughed

"Yeah and when the guy came back i told him. i don't want to work with you and i'm not betray so let me go" Abd said

I frowned."They are so stupid" i said

"Okay who would like some tea?" Abd said and Yasser said directly "no no please don't"

"Why not?" Abd asked

"Can't you remember when you made it with salt?" we cracked up laughing "Yeah?" Abd said

"I swear to god i throw up that day"

"no!" i said

"Yes! it was horrible!"

"Yeah seriously it was horrible" i said

I spent my whole day in Abds house.It was 10pm when i went home.

I took a shower and went to sleep.

Then next morning Abd called me at 7am "dude!!" i said angry

"Yeah babe" he joked

"I want to sleep it's 7am! you got to be kidding me!"

"no i'm not.it's pretty late"

"no it's not,still one hour till my work!" i said

"Okay yeah look your manager said that he need a new waiter.i want to work at the coffee shop.and Yasser is working today he said he's okay now so"

"Okay when we get there we'll talk to the manager.now go" i said and hanged up

But i couldn't sleep.i checked the time 7:30 oh man.

"Stupid Abd" i muttered and got off the bed making my way the the bathroom.Washed my face i wiped the water on my face and quickly made my way to my room.
Put a black sweater and my usual dark gray jacket.I made my way to the kitchen to eat something.Mom was sleeping,i didn't want to wake her up,so i put my shoe on and made my way out.

I checked the time and it was 7:40.

God i'm going to kill Abd.

Then made my way to the coffe shop,I got in and made my way to the changing room to put my uniform on.

"Adam" i head Abd calling from out side "Yeah just a second" i said,when i done wearing it, i got out of the changing room and made my way to the kitchen were Abd and Yasser are.

"Ey Dabalangi" Yasser said

"What's that?" i said frowning

"your nickname" he gave me his goofy smile.

"oh.wait what does it mean again?" i asked

"Nothing it's just a nickname"

"Oh" i said

"Okay okay enough with your stupid conversation.we have something more important than nicknames" Abd said and winked "I talked to the manager about working here and he said we need one more waiter so i guess i'm in" he said

"Cool well welcome buddy" i said

"one coffee please"one of the customers said "okay back to work" i said and made my way to the coffee machine .

"Hey Yasser good to be back ha?" Salim got in hugging Yasser.

"yeah" Yasser said hugging him back.

Omar and Dad flicked to my thoughts,whenever i remember one of them i should remember the other one because they are at the same place right now.

A part of me dies everyday when i think of them.

"You okay?" Yasser grabbing my shoulder "yeah my thoughts took me away" i said cracking a smile.

"okay move it" Yasser said.
My day has passed,but boring as usual.

Living in a settlers is just hard.
