Chapter two: go ahead

Ella's POV

" daaad" Kevin shouted as he ran down to a man wearing a yellow hardhat that construction workers wear, immediately we had arrived.

The man he called his father was not how she had imagined he would look like.

He was tall, had a chiseled face and a very sharp and prominent jaw, with bulging biceps, in general he looked like a Greek god, as dough he had being specially made.

Mrs Ella suddenly felt conscious of the run in her hose.

'If Kevin had told me his father looked like that I would have changed'

She felt his curious gaze on her, and it was making her feel flushed.

Ella gulped as she meet his gaze, it was as if she had been transfixed on the spot.

' mmm mama like, I wonder what how he would be in bed, rough or wild'

She felt her face he's up at her thoughts.

They held each others eyes for a long time before he broke it, when he looked at his son, who kept on blabbering oblivious to the exchange.

He cleared his throat " Kevin who is this?"

" oh right, this my teacher Mrs Ella Moore, she brought me to ask you for permission. "

His eyebrows raised up in surprised "permission for what, son?"

"We are celebrating, because I completed my assignment without much struggling" he said enthusiastically.

" that's great so-" he was cut of by a very handsome red head man, 'but not as handsome as Greek god'

"Hey Kevin!" He shouted

"Uncle Matt!" Kevin shouted as he ran to the man he called Matt.

While this was happening she felt  someone's eyes on her when she looked up she met Lewis's eyes,

"umm, we didn't mean to interrupt whatever it is you're doing, we just wanted to get your approval" she awkwardly said trying not to show the effect he had on her.

"Wanted to do your approval or wanting to know if I was irresponsible, uncaring father and see if my work was up to your 'standard'

She won't lie the thought had crossed her mind when she was on her way to meet him, she must admit, she was not expecting to find this when she visualised him.

She had imagined him to be lean, hard faced and show no affection towards his son, an unapproachable man, who hardly worked, and a depressed man.

"It seems as though I have silenced you". He signed,after I had not said anything, which is weird because I always know what to say.
"Uh... Why weren't you at the meeting- " he opened his mouth to talk but she caught him off and continued with her voice began to raise in anger "- this is not the first but the sixth time I'm giving Kevin a letter requesting for this meeting." His eyebrows rose as she said' requested'.

"requested... More like ordered" he muttered under his breathe.

" okay, I may or may nor have written the letter a little impolitely. "

" a little is not a word I would use to describe the your attitude towards me in the letter, it was more like a lot rudeness, with a trailer load of insults" he argued, as he said this she winced.

"Uhh, Mr Lewis, I don't think this is the right place to discuss this issue" she said looking pointedly at Kevin, but it seems like he hadn't seen the direction her eyes were situated.

" you were the one who started this argument. "

" Mr Lewis" she said in a stern voice.

" Kevin, you can go up, some floors had been added since you were last here."

" okay dad, dad can I also explore the other places?"

" sure, go ahead"
